I went here for a kids’ haircut for my son because I had seen good Google reviews regarding Cindy’s haircuts for children. While I was there, though, I got the distinct impression that she doesn’t really enjoy doing kids’ haircuts. She said something to effect of, «Yeah, we get a lot of kids in here lately and I had to go online to see why.» In addition, she charged me $ 35 for a little boy’s haircut, not the $ 15 kids’ haircut price listed online! The haircut was good, but that’s excessive.

I see Cindy, the owner, for my cut and color. She’s a lovely woman who knows her stuff. I’ve never had such rich and lustrous color-​work done like I’ve experienced at this salon. Beyond even that, her cuts and styling are always on point. She listens and makes sure she understands exactly what you want. Then she executes it. I’ve never left unsatisfied. I’ve ALWAYS felt wonderful about the job they’ve done.
The Bubble Room uses Aveda products exclusively and this is a very, very good thing. Aveda products are natural and organic and they are the only products that actually make my hair MORE healthy, despite the claims of countless other brands. While they are a little more expensive, they are worth it. Cindy and her staff will take the time to tell you which products suit you the best, but they never pressure. And I appreciate that.

I have went to Cindy for my hair cut and color on and off over the past 15 years. Cindy’s haircuts & other services such as highlighting and color are outstanding but what I appreciate about her most is what a perfectionist she is and her work ethic. You are going to LOVE your hairstyle once Cindy is finished with your hair. You will not be disappointed! Want to get your hair done without all the salon drama then this is the place to go!

I visited Cindy for the first time in August, after I moved here from DC. I got so many compliments on my first cut with her that I am making another appointment. She and I discussed the pros and cons of two cuts before deciding on one. She made astute observations about the shape of my face and what would be flattering. The cut has grown out very well and I look as professional now as I did when I walked out of The Bubble Room.

I would get my hair cut here every time if I could afford it. Whether you want a sassy new cut, crazy colors or a makeup tutorial — you’ll feel like a million bucks when you’re all done. Even when I asked them to dye my hair blue and blond, they worked with me to make sure I felt beautiful, which I did. They use delicious smelling Aveda products and the décor is funky and fresh too. I saw a 6^th or 7^th grader there getting a makeup tutorial and thought it was such a cool thing to do! (I ended up signing up for one myself so I could look beautiful on my wedding day!) They also offer massages, manicures and they like, but I haven’t tried any of those — if I’m not careful I can blow $ 200 on my hair alone — without even blinking my prettily painted eyelashes.
