Shining Stars Kids Dentistry

We have been extremely happy with the care here. Both of my daughters are now excited to go to the dentist. Everyone is very friendly and answers all of my questions. They are also so gentle and sweet to the kids. I have been to other pediatric dentists and this one is the best!

I can’t say enough about how great this practice is! I brought my daughters in for their first appointment. They were really nervous because they have been going to the same dentist for 10 years. The staff made them feel so welcome and comfortable. The Dentist was so great with them both! I was so relieved to find them. We found our new Dentist!

Love, love, love Dr. Lawrence and his staff! It’s always a great experience and the kids love going to the dentist!

My daughter complained one night that her tooth hurt. I left a message for Shining Stars to call me back the next day to get an appointment. Fortunately for us, they had an appointment available. The front office is open and there are different toys for the kids to play with in the waiting area. There wasn’t a mound of paperwork to fill out, which was nice. They were able to get my daughter back to be seen rather quickly. The tech who was taking the x-​rays was very gentle and explained the process to my daughter. She also brushed my daughter’s teeth and did a great job with that. Dr. Lawrence came out and talked to her and was wonderful in speaking quietly to his assistant about my daughter’s teeth, quietly to us about what work needed to be done, and happily to my daughter so she wouldn’t be scared.
The office wasn’t busy, so we asked if they could fit my son in as well, which they were able to. He had his x-​rays done, teeth cleaned, and Dr. Lawrence was able to look at his teeth without a problem. This is a complete difference from the last time my son saw a dentist, which traumatized him. Dr. Lawrence and his staff put my son at ease, and he looks forward to going back. He also enjoyed watching Curious George on the TV while having his teeth worked on.
In all, I am so glad that we decided to come here instead of the office we went to last, and I would highly recommend Dr. Lawrence and his staff. They genuinely care about the kids they see and work hard to make seeing the dentist a pleasant experience. I only wish I had seen a dentist like Dr. Lawrence when I was a kid!
