Seven-Eleven Stores

This place is an utter shit show! I’ve been in to this business 5 times over the last month and every single time they have been out of multiple products that I’ve gone into buy. The ice coffee is always empty, the soda machine is as well. The drink machine area is always filthy, with tons of garbage all over the place. The last time I asked the clerk to replace the ice coffee it took over 15 minutes, there was only 3 customers. I said thank you, with not even a simple acknowledgment? WTF? No comment from these losers ever. No hello! No greeting. No have a good day. It’s like walking into a funeral! Can’t hire anyone with a personality, who can learn to stock things, and check on things now and then? This isn’t brain surgery, it’s am idiots paradise, so perhaps maybe they should hire smarter idiots. It’s pathetic to see this level of incomptency. If an employee can’t master basic English, they shouldn’t be working with the public!

7 – 11 is one of the largest chains in America (I don’t actually know this for fact and have no evidence but given you can find 2 every 3 blocks in northern VA, I’m going to assume it’s probably true). With chains I expect consistency, and I feel like 7 – 11 is consistent.
Slurpees are wonderful. Morning donut options are excellent. Candy selection is quality. And my gambling needs are met with ease.
At this particular location, the amount of traffic is impressive for a residential neighborhood. The parking lot is clean and I never see loiterers, which is great, because no one wants people hanging out in front of their local 7 – 11. In fact, the only people out front are lined up for RedBox which is very popular at this location. The clerks aren’t chatty nor are they rude. They get you in and out quickly. That’s what I’m talking about.

I live right around the corner, and every time I walk the dog past here I get a little nervous. The parking lot is kind of crazy, and there’s two spots to enter/​exit, so I’m usually concerned with the nutty drivers that come in and out of here.
I’ve been here twice for candy for the theater (yeah I’m that girl) and the guy who rang us up was really nice. From what I’ve seen in movies, working in a convenience store might be a little nerve wracking, so I give props to those who do it, especially at night.
The store overall is clean, has a good stock, and the candy is fresh. Good job, 7 – 11. Now paint some lines in your parking lot and give some directional arrows on those two entrances. Then it might feel a little safer.
