Just try the white bean pastry. Or the green pea/bean. It comes inside an über-soft, delightfully sweet, impossibly buttery brioche bread. It’s so good and so rich that the silky smoothness of the bean complements the richness of the sweet bread. Have I mentioned that this is the BOMB? Omg. This bakery us amazing.

Best strawberry roll ever. I only got their strawberry roll and it was delicious! Recommend it to anyone! It has great balance between the cake and jam.

Ordered a rice cake from them for my daughters 100th day celebration. A very common celebration within the Korean community. Olive bakery messed up and wrote 100th year on the cake. I can accept mistakes but it was there attitude that earned them a one star. If I could I’d give them negative.

Okay… I would like to comment on another thing. Macarons here are so simple and as extensive as some places at all. In fact the whole collection consists of only vanilla flavor, and yet I’m in love. While Boulangerie at Paldo did a good job at balancing the super sweet meringue outside and the sour fruity meringue butter cream inside, Olive’s butter cream has a hint of savory from salt that make the whole meringue butter cream way more divine. Also, Olive’s macarons’ cookies are way less sweet as well. I would prefer theirs any days over the sickening and chemically sugary taste that is of the other bakery. Oh… and Olive’s macarons are cheaper too.
