Decided to check this place out since it is close to my work. No wait when I arrived at about 1. The have your basic sandwiches: turkey, ham, meatball, ect. The meat and cheese is pretty basic but the bread is always soft! Paid around 6 dollars for a small sub with chips and a drink.

Great locally owned Submarine/Sandwich place. Much better than Subway or other corporate chains. It’s my favorite place nearby to grab a sandwich.

Nice lady but boy was I fooled by the reviews! This is not worth a stop. BEWARE! Processed meats. Average bread, no cheese, sandwich came nearly dry!

Good sandwich. The softest and freshest bread I have ever had. Very friendly staff. Will definitely go back. I had the Italian, it was good but will try something else next time. Overall happy customer that will return.

I had to try this place yesterday just to see if it lived up all to this hype I see on Unilocal. I tried 2 sandwiches yesterday: Turkey Breast and BBQ Beef, full sizes for each. $ 7 each with tax. The bread is soft and such, so it made biting into the sandwiches easily. If someone recommended to come here, I would not mind, it’s way better than Subway for sure. So anytime I’m thinking of Subway, I will come here instead. Overall, there was not any«wow» factor I was getting from either sandwiches, therefore it’s a 3 star place for me, even though the lady that runs the place is very nice.

I had the Italian cold cut with mayo, mustard, onions, peppers, tomatoes and lettuce. Bread was nice and soft, the Italian dressing just the right amount of tanginess. It was a very good sandwich from a local spot so I will most definitely will be back. Subway, Jersey mikes, which which, and togo’s… No contest!!! It is a no frills spot that just makes good sandwich’s. No national commercials or celebrity sponsors just good food.

This place is not even close to what the reviews are claiming. But don’t take my word for it, go ahead and find out for yourself…

I really enjoyed this place. Love supporting small, family run establishments. I ordered the New Yorker with Swiss and it was delicious! Also, they have non gmo, gluten free chips!!!

Went here for my first time today. I went here based on the favorable Unilocal reviews. As stated in the other reviews, this place is spotless. Clean. No frills sammich shop, yet casual and comfortable with interesting plants and photos well placed in the dining area. The woman who took my order and made my sub was friendly and attentive. I had the pastrami sub. It was made the way I like subs… fresh and with warm soft bread. Delicious! I saw some cookies cooling on a cooking tray. She had just baked then, so I ordered two of them. They were warm and delicious as well. Overall great experience. I will definitely return, and I would recommend this sub sammich shop for anyone in the area that is looking for a more«real» experience than Subway. #steelparade #steeldrumlife

Great service! The lady is so sweet! And the bread is absolutely incredible. It melts in your mouth. I had the turkey and avocado, my husband had the Italian. Both were great. Highly recommended. Great service, great food, fast, and reasonably priced.

Great sandwich! I had the number 3 — Italian cold cuts on wheat. The bread was excellent, the fillings plentiful, fresh and high quality, and the taste of the sandwich was great. For less than $ 7, this is a deal. Service was great, the owner obviously takes pride in her business and it shows.

Definitely a sub shop to give a try. Walked in and the first thing I noticed was how clean the place is. Ordered a couple of cold cut type sandwiches, and was impressed with how fresh the bread was! The sandwiches were balanced perfectly – similar to Jersey Mike’s but better. Great prices, friendly staff, this is a place that I will try out again! Thanks!

Seriously the ham/turkey/cheese sandwich I ordered fell from the sky. The bread alone is enough to give this place a try. AND my job just relocated down the street! SCORE! ! OJ subs I’ll be seeing you more often *winkwink

Quite likely the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ve driven by this place a million times but had no idea what deliciousness was waiting in the wings. I bought the Italian cold cut without onions and with light mayo. It was perfect. I love how soft and doughy the bread is here. I have never seen a sub or sandwich with such soft, squishy bread. Big time love. I also love how streamlined and relaxing this place is. Look at a brief menu, order, eat an awe inspiring sandwich. No fuss. Service is nice here. The woman who runs it has a good memory for her customers and is very pleasant to them. She’s more than helpful and incredibly sweet every time we go. And no giant TV screens blaring sports or terrible news. Sorry, America.
