I got my hair cut today, and it was great! Maggie and the rest of the staff were friendly. The place was clean and had good vibes. I didn’t have a great idea of exactly what I wanted when I went in, and Maggie made some good suggestions. We also talked about cuts that I could do when I’m looking for a more drastic change. I’m really happy with how the cut turned out!

I’ve been getting my hair did at Folicle by Denise for about a year now. I’m always pleased with the result and I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I know — ME! — the girl who does literally nothing with her hair before leaving the house. I shit you not, I wash it, dry it with a towel, and put a little mousse on the front and let it air dry. Denise deserves the compliments, not me for sure.
The salon itself is bright and welcoming. The receptionist is very nice and friendly — always up for a chat that never feels forced, like she actually wonders what you’ve been up to. Comfy chairs to wait in and a decent selection of products available out front.
The only thing that could make Folicle better is the addition of a few spa services — nothing crazy, just maybe mani/​pedi and facial in addition to the facial hair waxing that they offer now. It’s nice to have a one-​stop shop for hair and nails.
Overall though, a nice friendly salon where I’ve had a great experience so far. Try it out if you’re in the market for a new hair spot.
