I came in today with my boyfriend and his mom who is visiting from out of state. No one asked if we needed help. Then when we asked the woman for help she walked away. Very poor customer service! Very rude shorter woman working there! Limited sizes

I’ve been here before and had good experiences, but as a returning customer, I need consistency. Short story: I wasn’t greeted upon entering, the associate gave up quickly when he didn’t have the shoe in the size I requested. No follow on questions… just generally disinterested. I’m not a picky person by any means, but I do have basic expectations when I go to a business. Much better experience at Foot Locker. Spent $ 250 and couldn’t be happier with the experience or shoes Foot Locker gave me. Memo to the manager: raise your expectations for your employees and cut the fat.

My experience here was excellent. Got running shoes for Christmas but they were the wrong size. I lost my receipt & was worried that they couldn’t help me without it, but decided to try my luck anyway. Had a young Hispanic girl helping me who was so sweet, and attentive. She was able to help me choose my right shoe size. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the color I wanted in the size I am, but she was able to order it for me & have it shipped to my house all. My whole visit took about 15 minutes & I received my shoes two days later! Thank you for your great service!

Today’s service ended in a HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE. But it didn’t start that way. I went in today with my wife and two daughters. To shop for their back to school shoes. And we also wanted to exchange some insoles. They said that they don’t do that. I told them that the Cerritos store always does that for us. They said that we had to go to that store. Which to me I thought all Finishlines are the same, but whatever. So we continued to shoe shop. We were being helped by Alicia. She started out doing a great job. My daughter picked out some shoes that she liked. My other daughter was very indecisive. I told her, if she wasn’t sure to try them on and see how they looked and felt sometimes you like them. But when she put them on they were not what she expected, so she picked two different ones. We asked Alicia for her size. She brought them out, my daughter tried them on, but still didn’t like them. So we wanted to purchase the shoes for one of my daughters, a Dodgers shirt for my wife, two shorts for my daughters. My wife was tired so she told me she was ready to go. Which apparently Alicia heard. I’ll get to that later. So Alicia started to scan our items on a hand held device, that she was new at. She scanned everything. Then I handed her a coupon, she didn’t know what to do so she called Francis over. He explained to us that the coupon couldn’t be used on Jordan shoes. I gave him another one, and he said that I needed to spend more to meet to requirement to use the coupon. I told him never mind I’ll just get these items. So I gave Alicia my credit card, she asked me to sign the hand held device and I ask her do you have a pen or how do I sign she said with your finger. So I admit, I did sign the scanner in a pissed off manner, but I never said a word to her. She went to look for the printer for my receipt. I told her that this company sucks now. I started walking towards the front of the store waiting for my receipt. She came to me and handed me the receipt and mumble«Take your business elsewhere», I asked her, «Excuse me. What did you say?» She then said«I didn’t say anything». I told her I needed corporates phone number. She told me she would go and get it. That’s when I asked Francis If he was the manager, he said yes. I told him what was going on and he said that he would talk to her. I go meet with my wife and kids and tell my wife what happened. She told me well take her up on her advice, take everything back so I did. I told Francis I’m going to take Alicia’s advice and take my business elsewhere. Then he tells me that Alicia said that my wife just wanted to go. Which has nothing to do with why we were there or why she had an attitude with me at the end of the transaction. I told him that I’m a manager at a retail business. And he explained to me that she is new. I told him that’s fine. I could have been mean and told her if you don’t know how to use the portable scanner, don’t use the scanner. But I didn’t I understand when people are learning, but the attitude is definitely not acceptable. And I told him maybe retail is not for her. Attitude is not acceptable when you are working with the public. I hope to hear from someone from corporate about this matter, because I definitely don’t feel like this matter will be resolved by Francis, since he was defending her. Terrible customer service. I will not be going back. It’s a shame. I do like the shoes and apparel from Finishline. But not worth the attitude. Take the few extra steps and walk down to Champs. Maria was great. They can learn from her.
