Crown Smog Test Only

Went in for a smog check. I was the 3^rd car and was done in 15. Easy, fast and to the point. I had s coupon so the whole thing ended up costing me 30 bux.

I took my 87 Grand National there for a smog check & the guy performing them tried to say my car wasn’t legal because it had headers & the turbo was not original equipment. My car is completely stock, he had no knowledge about my car & tried to argue it claiming it wasn’t on the emissions decal, it is & it’s clearly marked. He refused to do some research to see if I was telling the truth & argued with me when I showed him the coding on the VIN stating it is a high performance vehicle. I found another place with good reviews & took it there. that guy knew about the car & it passed with flying colors as I knew it would. I will never take my business there again for anything. They even do a lousy job on washing my vehicles, my wife had her Yukon detailed by them & there were so many places where they missed removing the wax, I could have done a better job blindfolded. the best thing the owners of that place could do is sell it to someone who knows what they’re doing. Overall, they’re expensive & they do poor work.

Be prepared to wait a long time. Only have a few people cleaning cars and a crowd waiting so the cleaning is rushed and sub par.

Smog test machine was broken and I wasted about 30 minutes waiting for them to get it working to no avail.

I agree with the other reviewers who said the guy here is not very friendly. I came in happy cuz no one else was getting a smog check. I brought my FJ Cruiser here and left without getting it done because of the following: first, starting from the initial meeting, the guy wasn’t friendly (ok with me as long as he gets the job done). Second, he didn’t know how to check a car that has «auto-​trac». He rudely tells me to turn off the auto-​trac which to my fault I didn’t know how cuz it’s one of those features that I didn’t really paid much attention too. I told him this and he responded with a lecturing and annoyed attitude. He responded with «you bought a car that you don’t know how to use!» This got me flustered and so I told him that I don’t know how to use every feature of the car and that I didn’t even know that it came with that feature! He then told me that he didn’t have time to figure out how to turn it off and that I need to take it to the dealer to do this. I looked around and there was no one else waiting to get a smog check and it was hours before closing time. This was the last straw and so I told him, with sarcasm of course, that «yeah, I see you’re really busy, give me my keys cuz I’m going to the station a few blocks away.» So I left and got the check done at the 76 station on corner of bellflower and del amo. The guy was friendly and knew to check a car with auto-​trac!!!

Came in for a smog check, it was pretty fast no longer than 15 minutes. I printed out a coupon online 29.95 plus a free car wash. I had to pay for the certificate fee which came out to $ 40.00
I was a little upset because I was trying to find where to start to get my car washed. The guy who did my smog check told me to go to the middle where the guy was standing which I guess was where they vaccum, went there and he told me I need to go to where they were drying the cars, went there and he told me I needed to go around so I was like wtf looking really stupid going in circles…-_– so one of them finally took my car and got it washed within 5mins. They did a good job except I didn’t get my car vaccumed :(I didn’t really care at that point I just wanted to leave because I was so embarrassed but yet happy that I finally got my car washed!

I tried this place for the first time today to have my 2006 tundra smogged. The guys working there are not the most social but they are alright. It cost me $ 40 to smog my truck which included a free (real) carwash with vacuuming and all. The also have a $ 29.95 coupon which i found but could not print because i was out of ink and out of time. Great deal tho. I went At 8 on a friday morning and was out in 15 mins. Recommended.

It wasn’t all that quick and easy as I had hoped. This lady got here literally two seconds before me so I had to just sit around and wait but of course that part didn’t bother me. I kind of get why the other post say the guy who works here has no social skills. Personally, you don’t need to get chummy with me when I’m just getting a smog test but I didn’t like being tossed around here and there. I felt really stupid and I wanted to leave but it was already late and I HAD TO get my smog test in by that day to avoid the penalty from the DMV :/​It’s connected to the car wash and they are NOT under the same management so don’t go in the car wash to ask for a smog check because they will ignore you! Extra star for sending the results right away on their computers over to the DMV + free car wash

They took the coupon no problem, plus I got a free car wash.

The guy that runs this place is not super social. He isn’t mean but doesn’t exactly try to engage you either. The smog test took about 30 minutes but… I think he could have moved a lot faster.
total for the smog test, electronic transfer, and certificate was $ 35. That is a fantastic deal. It even came with a free basic car wash.
