History

Established in 2014.

Husband and wife Dean «Buck» and Kristen have been in the restaurant business for a combined 40 years in every aspect from serving, bar tending, management, training, catering, and event planning! They purchased The Rib BBQ in April of 2014, which had been around in Lakewood, CO for over 35 years! They have put their own mark on the business and provide high quality smoked meats and sides for dine in and take out from their quaint neighborhood spot, as well as travel all over Colodao in the «Buck Truck» providing catering services for groups both small and large!

We are husband and wife team Dean «Buck» and Kristen, and we are the proud owners of Buck’s BBQ & Grill in Lakewood, Colorado! Between the two of us we have been in the restaurant business a combined 40 years (whew that’s a long time!) and dreamed of the day when we would have a place of our own! Dean’s life-​long nickname «Buck» comes from the day he was born and his dad had to come home early from a deer hunting trip. He called him his «little buck» and the name stuck! We are your destination for great BBQ with a small town feel, right in the suburbs of Denver.
