I have been seeing Dr Beer since he started this office almost 20 yrs! I am terrified of dentists and he makes you feel at ease and is always cautious to make sure you are not having pain while he is working on you. He does very good work and is never judgemental about your dental habits or make you feel bad because you may not be the best at brushing or flossing. He just wants to help you and fix your dental issues with the minimal amount of fuss as possible. I have referred many friends to him and all have had nothing but high praises for him and his office. I must also compliment Laurie who works at his front desk as essentially a «Girl Friday»! She greats you by name when you come in, she calls you to remind you about your appointments and does a great job working with your insurance company’s to get you the maximum benefits she can. They compliment each other so well and work together like hand and glove! She is an extremely professional, very organized and will work very hard to get you in if you have a dental emergency and need to be seen. I never mind when she has called me to see if I could reschedule so an emergency could be worked in, because when I have needed a emergent appointment, I always was seen in a reasonable amount of time.

This dentist is not only a fantastic dentist, he’s one of my best medical experiences, ever(and I have quite a few because I have many health problems!). Due to life circumstances, I saw a dentist for the first time in my 30s, and I chose Dr. Beer on the recommendation of a friend. It may have been the best advice I have ever received. Dr. Beer and his staff could have lectured me for waiting three decades to get dental care, but they get it. They know that for some people, dental care is a luxury. No, the doctor and his staff made me feel welcome, praised me for getting dental care, and took their time to explain everything to me and make me feel at ease. Dr. Beer has a tremendous bedside manner and is soft-spoken and not scary at all. He has a special way of numbing you up. It takes a while, but his motto is «slow and steady» and it does not hurt one bit … and it lasts a long time! I’ve talked to other people who marvel at his technique. Some patients dread the needle. I say, bring it on, Dr. Beer! Thankfully, although I went so long without dental care, my teeth were in pretty decent shape, but Dr. Beer was supportive and encouraging about my decision to get braces. «I’m proud of you,» he said, and I believe he really is! I must also give a shout-out to Laurie, the employee who works his front desk. She is damn good at her job. As soon as she walks in, she welcomes you by name. She is organized and efficient. I have never seen anyone run a medical office this well. This office is located in the Marc’s shopping plaza, which is one crazy shopping center. Get there early so you can find a parking spot. And if you’re able to eat after your appointment, I do recommend hopping over to Falafel Xpress for a treat!
