These guys are fantastic. Took my bike in for a tune up. Somehow the clutch was missed. I brought it back and they fixed it no questions asked. Awesome! Always do a bang up job. Great customer service too.

I filled out a credit app online and one of their customer service people call me and tells me I’m approved thru HD credit, so I go down there on a Monday and this girl is showing me all these new models which isn’t what I was looking for to start with, wanted something used, the whole time I was there I was asking about the terms of the loan, interest rate, how many months and how much I was approved for, not one person could give me that answer and until that happens I won’t set foot in that place!

I was in town for my uncle’s birthday and decided to check out Avalanche Harley Davidson to try to find a gift for him. I was debating between a few different items when Kelley and Denise suggested a wonderful vintage clock. My uncle was ecstatic to hang it up! Thanks, Kelley and Denise for all your help!

This was my first time going to a dealership to buy a bike. My review is based on my experiences with the finance /​accounting department. I have /​had no issues with anyone in sales, I actually found they were all very nice and helpful.
I bought a new 2015 Sportster here in Nov ’15. 3 Weeks later I was hit by a car that ran a stop sign and the bike was totaled. I had GAP insurance so after filing my claim with my insurance company, I filed my GAP claim. My insurance had paid out on the bike by February 1^st. GAP insurance finished their claim and to my surprise was not paying $ 3,298 worth of warranties. The dealership was supposed to have paid those back to the lender. I was not aware of this until GAP had sent me a letter but I was surprised the dealership had not taken any action as they were aware my bike was totaled and I was planning to buy a new one once everything was settled.
After a ridiculous number of calls, emails (all ignored) and even multiple trips in person, the dealership wrote checks totaling $ 2,043, leaving me paying $ 955 worth of warranties on a totaled bike.
I had already purchased the same bike through them because the sales team was so great, but had I known this was going to end up this way I would have just bought my bike elsewhere.

Super amazing staff. Ask for Marc or Earl. They know their bikes. Incredible professionalism and they know how to welcome you like family whether your buying or not.

Extremely rude. Not worthy of my business. Tried to get a straight answer on a bike only to find out the quote was falsely high after I did some research. A saleslady was very rude toward me when I asked about why the price was so jacked up. She would not give me any info on anything I asked about and was very snotty. NEVER going back. They need to fire that girl, she is not a good employee

NEVER AGAIN will i allow myself to be abused by sales people and sales managers on a power trip.
I was quoted something over the phone. Got there and it was magically a different price. I left and bought somewhere else. bluebook trade in they advertise? yea sure if you pay full retail for a bike! TOTAL JOKE
Its just a game! its all lies and BS from them.
For over a year now i have been getting pre recorded voicemails on my cellphone about there sales and promotions, fliers weekly in the mail and don’t even get me started on how many emails i have gotten. Do yourself a favor and stay away! Whatever you do! DONT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO OR PHONE NUMBER!

Update … Made my dream of owning a great bike come true in September 2015. I drive by Avalanche daily on my way to work in Lakewood from Broomfield. Stopped in a few times and with their continued calls and me wanting to make a deal on a 2015 I really wanted, I got my bike. Ended up not being such a great deal by the time they added all the other things in that the finance guy sold me (sucker stamp on my head). I LOVE my bike. I’ll never set foot in Avalanche again. They called me constantly and emailed me about completing surveys and asking that I rate them positively, which I did initially. Then I get a call from one of their female staff checking in and. oh by the way there is a recall on your bike when can you bring it in. I did some research and found that the recall was not new, it had been active for months. I was furious that I drove off the lot with a recalled bike part (fuel pump) that has been noted to cause accidents and thus the reason for the recall. I said that to the person calling and she agreed that it should have been checked before I left and couldn’t explain how that «slipped by.» Then she kept asking when I could bring it in and to schedule something with service. I’m sorry but you want me to drive my bike from Broomfield to Lakewood (23 miles) with a part that may malfunction and cause me to crash because YOU didn’t take care of an open recall before I left? You couldn’t check that but you can send me email after email after email asking me to bring friends in to buy bikes and stop by to get new things for my bike? I realize now that Avalanche didn’t and doesn’t give two craps about me and just wanted my money. I found another HD dealership closer to my house and guess what. they picked my bike up from my house because that was covered as part of the recall. Never got that offer from HD, just when can you bring an unsafe bike back to us. Steer clear from this place …

Service department sucks. False promises and lack of communication within their department. Get it together. We know you’re busy but don’t tell people their bikes are done or will be done on dates you can’t follow though with. Not happy.

I usually find a HD store wherever I travel and purchase a t-​shirt with a picture on the back of the area. Visiting Denver for the week and drove out of the way to this store. As soon as I walked in the store, I should have known I was wasting my time. The girl at the front desk just stared at me — didn’t say hi, welcome, no acknowledgment.
I went straight to the t-​shirt section, didn’t see anything and wandered around. Had a sales clerk following me around and eye balling me the entire time. But as soon as I turned around to ask her for help she was «busy» and ignored me. I like t-​shirts with a picture on the back instead of just the name of the store. I asked another clerk for help and she just pointed and said all the tshirts are there. 3 towers and none of them had my size. The clerk that was following me around started hanging at the tower so I asked her what tshirt backs she had and all she said was pull out the shirt and look.
There was one shirt another customer found with a nice pictured back. I asked the eyeballer if there were more and she said no. But at the same time the other clerk said she could go look in the back. When I said ok, she said oh they were out and the new ones are in the back but they can’t bring them out just yet. The one the customer had just happened to sneak out of the back storage.
Extremely rude service. I didn’t buy anything and just walked out.

Applied for a rider to rider finance program through HD finance. HD sent my info to them because I live near Avalanche. When I got down there they didn’t even know what type of financing it was. (Private party sale through HD financial). And after he figured it out their «GM» said they don’t do that. I know they don’t make a lot of money off this but they do get a handling fee. I called Rocky mountain HD they do it. I talked to their finance guy and got my questions answered. I do have to wait until he can get my info transfered.
I will never buy anything from Avalanche HD. If they don’t want to work with this program than they will not get any of my money.
Also when I was standing there waiting for a response one of the sales guys was talking to the finance guy about a customer. I didn’t catch the whole conversation but he did say «well I’m just going to low ball the guy». Good customer service.

Sales guy was good, the rest of this place sucks.
I bought a brand new bike and bought some accessories incuding a tuner, new exhaust and bars. I took the bike in for the exhaust and bars when the job was finished, they never gave me the tuner that I paid for. When I asked them to ship it to me because I moved, it took 3 months and then I never received it. They said that I needed to take it up with UPS and completely checked out of the situation. A situation that they themselves created by not giving me my parts back after service was performed.
They also still owe me my stock exhaust and bars as well. If you have service done there and check the box that says that you want your old parts back, don’t expect to get them back. I’ve called several times and now they just ignore me or put me on permanent hold. It’s been a year now since all of this started so I’m giving up. I hope stealing $ 300 worth of parts from me was worth it.
Once they get their $ 20,000 from you, they are gone. I wouldn’t purchase so much as a key chain from this place. About to buy a touring bike, glad they won’t be the ones selling me that one.

This is by far and away the worst H-​D dealer i have ever had the displeasure of walking into. Wanted to get the oil changed on my 99 Road King Classic and was told they didn’t work on bikes with Magnetti-​Marelli fuel injection. I was told that my $ 50.00 wasn’t worth their time, take it somewhere else. The service manager was also kind of a dick telling me they didn’t work on bike over 10 years old.
If your thinking of buying a new bike. Look somewhere else caus in 10 years you won’t be able to get it serviced there. I won’t ever step foot on that piece of crap dealership ever again, and if you do, it would be a big mistake. Too bad there is a new scooter in my near future but not from Avalanche.

I’ve spent nearly $ 50K at this dealership in the last year, and have had four bad experience.
Bad experience #1 with Sales Team: When I purchased the bike, I had assumed that the bike was being sold at MSRP & checked that it was– come to find out I overpaid. That’s probably by fault to an extent, but the sales tactics employed here were shady. I negotiated the bike down a hair, and this leads to my next shiesty experience– the financing.
Bad experience #2 with Finance Dept: I financed a small portion of the bike for convenience (wasn’t able to wire the amount in). I told him that I would pay off the bike that month. He told me that if I did and didn’t keep the loan for 90 days, they would reserve the right to remove the discounts applied to the bike– mind you, the discounts reduced the price to around $ 2,500 over MSRP. I found this shady– it was clear that the financing company didn’t pay Avalanche if the loan wasn’t kept for 90 days.
Bad experience #3 with Service Dept: I spent around $ 15,000 on accessories for this bike, and I had the service department install it all for me. I purchased a sissy bar from them at an earlier date, and when I brought the bike in to install all of the new goodies, I had them add a touring pack. They never put the sissy bar back on, or the seat strap. I immediately let them know that the strap wasn’t given back to me, and they ignored my requests (via email). I then noticed that the sissy bar, which I bought from them at an earlier date wasn’t given back to me either. I had to argue with them for the strap (bad experience #4 below) & the sissy bar. They finally agreed to give me the strap, and the only option they gave me was to wait 30 days for a wrecked bike to clear insurance. If it did, there might be a sissy bar they could take off. Wow.
Bad experience #4 service dept: They sent me the wrong strap :)
So– I just spent $ 25K on a new bike from High Country Harley in Freemont. Awesome team, awesome service. I asked them if I could order a strap and they walked out a few minutes later with one that they had in the back for free that someone didn’t use. This is the dealership that I’ll be giving my business to.

Purchased a 2015 Road King here on Saturday 4÷18÷15. I could not have been happier with the experience. I went in to check out the 3 year anniversary party not really intending to purchase a bike. They had advertised that they were offering full retail trade value on your bike towards a new one so i figured i’d kick some tires and see what comes of it. They were excellent to work with! Reed, my fit consultant («sales guy» to the rest of the world), was awesome to work with. I am not a novice at making purchases like this, and am a fairly skilled negotiator. They were very patient with all of my questions and concerns and answered them as honestly as can be expected. They are a for profit business so i didn’t expect anything for free. Remember, you can walk away at any time during the sales process so if there is something you don’t agree with (like your interest rate) then DON’T SIGN THE PAPERWORK! I was very happy with how i was treated as a customer and, more importantly, how hard they worked to literally earn my business. Everything was up font and clearly explained to me. I would absolutely recommend Avalanche Harley to anyone looking to purchase a Harley!

I have had a dream for 26 years… That dream was to own a Harley. From the first visit to the day I purchased that dream I was absolutely taken care of at avalanche.
The whole team understood how special this was for me and delivered an epic beginning to my life with my Harley.

AHD gave me a great deal on my trade and I got a great bike which I love. Everyone is nice. But every time I go in I feel like they are trying to sell me something. I went in to ask questions about exhaust systems. They tried to sell me what they had in stock in stead of answering my questions.
All in all AHD is a nice shop, just not my kind of place. I prefer a more laid back kind of approach.

OK — it’s been a few months since I purchased my new Harley at Avalanche. The decision to leave a dealership that we loved and that had treated us as family was met with much trepidation. After a few bumps here and there I have no regrets. Ryan — (GM), Harry — (Sales), Bryan — (Parts), and Sid — (Service), as far as I’m concerned, are top shelf. You will have to search a long time to find a team more committed to costumer satisfaction.
The dealership is alive, fun, and has a large selection of bikes to choose from. We look forward to a great relationship.

While the dealership is nice, plenty of fun «community events» for customers can be found, and the selection of both bikes/​accessories and apparel is pretty big, that’s where the pros stop for avalanche HD.
Got conned by brandon into a 22% Interest rate on my bike… my warranty apparently got voided because I didn’t want to pay 450 dollars for a 1k mile «check up» (not even any work being done, literally just a check up and wash) their prices on parts, clothes and anything else is astronomical and their sales people (most anyway – most of the ladies are really friendly) and mechanics treat people who don’t know every inch of a bike like dirt. I’ve never been to any other dealerships, so I can’t really compare… but even if i hit the lottery, and avalanche was the only dealer in state lines, I’d go elsewhere for a bike.
I’m also trying to sell my bike currently… really dislike the idea of my money supporting this place.

Bought a 2014 softail slim for my wife. after 2 weeks of being in their «service» department we were called bike was ready. we drove 40 miles home with no break lights and a lose front tire. carried bike in to a reputable dealer for service and discovered they screwed all the internal programming up trying to dyno this bike with no machine. later discovered they sold me half the warranty I requested, only one year not three as promised. you have choices when buying a motorcycle do not let out of state crooks use a great brand name to rip you off. do your research, these guys are HORRIBLE! buy anywhere but here.
