Best latin food ever. Very positive vibe and service. Chicharon de pollo is the best. With tostones my favorite includes latin bistro parrillada. Linguini poblano pesto, Latin bistro nachos empanadas and bandeja tipica. Mixture of cultures and taste buds in one restaurant. Also if you would love a burger the Latin and Hawaiians are really good.

I gotta say I’m disappointed in the way I was treated over the phone for a delivery order. I gave my order and the gentleman took down my credit card information. When it came down to ask me where it was going, i said it’s going to Howell but it’s right over county line(literally a 5 minute drive in traffic, if that) I was told that they could not do deliver to Howell as it’s too far. Too far? It’s literally 1.5 miles at the most from the restaurant. So if you don’t delivery 1.5 miles away, why deliver at all?

Definitely worth five stars! When we saw that there was a Cuban restaurant near our new home we were super excited. Latin bistro had all five star reviews so we had to try it, we were not disappointed. We ordered ½ chicken with rice and beans, tostadas and flautas and they were delish. Bookmark this one and give it a try you will thank me later.

I usually have lunch here. Love the Flautas(includes avocado and salad) and the Chicken Cesar Salad. They serve generous amount so you won’t feel hungry after, like other places. The empanadas are also tasty. The employees are courteous and attentive. Haven’t tried other items but they look delicious as they go by your table. The place is always clean and organized. Try it. You’ll like it!

Sick food! If I have to pick one dish-la parrilla, it’s just amazing, the soups takes you to heaven. The real stuff comes from Pedro’s grill, ribs, chicken, steaks and goat. Just to let you guys know, I do not work there but I go there often, it’s the only place that keeps me happy to work in Lakewood.

Came in today for dinner before heading back to NYC after playing a show at the Strand Theater a few blocks up the road. I’m so glad I did. Very sweet and pleasant service, and lots of food for the value! Only nine dollars for a half chicken, rice, and a salad, and it was a big portion! Definitely worth the money, and it was so tasty too. I am sold. I have always liked these family-owned Latin American places, they stuff you like a goose. Will most definitely be back when I come to Lakewood again. Maybe I will bring one of my distant cousins who lives here who I’ve never met before, haha.

Fantastic! Came with a group and had the waiter order apps for us family style for nearly 2 hours. Dinner ended with goat and fried avocado. Hot sauces were home made and one was better than the other. Yuca, empanadas, chicharon, flautas, all excellent! We are coming back!

I went in and got a sandwich recently, and it was excellent. The staff was friendly, the place was very clean and orderly, they churned out my order in a hurry, and the prices were reasonable. I got a sandiwch(pollo Milanesa) with rice in place of the fries. Great sandwich. If I have to occasion to be out that way again, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back here.

A diamond in the rough. Not a great area, unfortunately this location in Lakewood isn’t ideal. Flautas Gigantes app was overfried, but that can be easily corrected. Chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, a much better choice over Boston Market or most other chicken places. A health-conscience and fitness-oriented type of guy, I comfortably ate half of my meal and saved the other half for later. Portion was generous, employees were polite and attentive. I’d highly recommend that they start offering delivery outside of a walking distance, it would highly increase your sales and popularity. Will definitely return.

Hispanic food from a number of ethnicities(Puerto Rican, Cuban, Peruvian, etc…) all brought together in one neat little package. Located in downtown Lakewood, NJ, the sign is a bit unassuming so it is easy to miss and if you do miss it then your the poorer for it. It is surrounded by a number of smaller, less expensive taquerias but the prices are comparable to any standard restaurant. There’s also a distinct difference in the quality of the food. The filling for the chicken and the beef empanadas is the best I have ever had and is only amplified when dipped into the hot sauces provided. The pork tamales are perfectly steamed pockets of joy. The seasoning is spot on, never bland but never burning your mouth(unless you choose to drown your meal in hot sauce). The staff has also been exceptionally courteous and helpful. If I had any negative issue it is that they may run out of certain items in there menu. If they do, don’t fret, there’s plenty of delicious food to choose from.
