Mathnasium Lakeville specializes in building math sense and fundamentals retention for students from 2^nd grade through High School.

We create a fun environment to help all students whether they are struggling, right on track or advanced.

History

Established in 2005.

Mathnasium Lakeville is part of a national math franchise of locally owned Math Tutoring Centers. The center in Lakeville was the very first Mathnasium opened in Minnesota. It has been located in the same location for its entire existence at the north end of the Cub Shopping complex at Dodd Road and Cedar Avenue in Lakeville. The center has been very active in schools, Chamber of Commerce and other community activites.

Meet the Business Owner

Mark R.

Business Owner

Mark applied his lifelong love of math by earning an engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he graduated in the top 20% of his class. He followed up with six years in the Army Corps of Engineers as a combat engineer, leading numerous construction projects. Mark undertook advanced Engineering training at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, where he passed and registered as a Professional Engineer. Mark entered the financial services business when he opened his own successful Edward Jones office which was his initiation to community involvement and the small business environment. Mark received his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation (CIMA) from the Wharton School and has held the positions of Senior Vice President, Piper Capital Management; Regional Vice President, Aetna Financial; and Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo Investments. Mark loves seeing the flash of understanding in the eyes of the Mathnasium students at that «ah ha» moment.
