Listen people, if you want somewhere to relax, to get away this is a great little hideaway. Cabins are rustic, cozy and clean. Beds are comfortable and the Staff is excellet and always willing to help.

My family and I stayed here once a couple of years ago and we had a great time. For me, having the ability to wake up in a bed and have a fully stocked lake, less than 50 yards away to fish in makes this place worth it. Our cabin, the pinion, was the perfect size for a family of three. My son slept in the hide-​a-​bed. He said it was comfortable enough. The bedroom had two beds, one queen and one twin. Which meant the dog got her own bed while we were there. I can tell you after all the running around we did everyday the dog was the first one in bed every night. The cabins are rustic and yes you cannot take your time in the shower if you enjoy hot showers. But that’s what being in the woods is all about. For the value and excellent customer service I think you will be hard pressed to find another place like this. I also wanted to mention this location seems to attract an older crowd. As opposed to their sister location lake of the woods, which seems to cater to more towards families. We really enjoyed this as well because there weren’t a bunch of kids running around. We are heading up again in a couple of weeks to stay at this place. I will give an updated review afterwards.

The location is great and the cabin we had (Tamarack) was perfect for the 4 of us. It was clean, for the most part, besides the dead ants on the counter and the live ones that popped up a few times. The weather didn’t cooperate very much and we were stuck inside most of the time, so having the tv and the fireplace was a big plus. We went up in a diesel truck and they do horribly in cold weather, so when it came time to leave and it wouldn’t start, the owner drove from their sister resort (Lake of the Woods) and brought starting fluid and helped get the truck started. He wouldn’t even take any money from us for it. Awesome customer service! We’ll be back, and hopefully the weather will be better next time. :-)

Beautiful view spoiled by the lake view. Cabins were outdated but hey cant beat the view, Had everything you need, pull out trindle bed was bad to sleep on the top. We stayed in the White Fir cabin. I will go back for sure, was nice enough. Spolied by the view and feeling being in the woods. Close to everything you need.
