I love this place. I can’t believe I never been until about three months ago and now I find my self going more and more. I always get the same two items. The chicken sandwich and a small Greek salad. I’m always happy with my food it taste great. This is definitely on my monthly eat out spot.

Delicious! Love the drive thru. Way too expensive though! I asked the lady about discounts, coupons, anything… she said they don’t even get an employee discount!!! LAME Greek Chicken! Give these people an employee discount!!!

I love this place. Happy, friendly, delicious, cleanest place ever. Lettuce for me could be cut smaller but that will not stop me from eating there!

Always a go to place for us if we want fast food. Really delicious chicken and gyro meat. We usually get the gyro salad and a chicken salad. The only problem we’ve run into is that the amount of meat you’re given in the salad varies each time and sometimes you do get very little meat in your $ 10 salad. This time we decided to dine-in at the Lakeside location. My husband opted for his usual gyro salad which has feta cheese, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, gyro meat, with a side of yogurt sauce and pita bread. This time he got less meat than usual. I got the #2 meal which is ¼ chicken, your choice of side(rice), and a salad. They gave me a delicious chicken leg, and the rice and salad are always tasty. We also got desert. A small banana split which was delicious. The small comes in a cup with the bananas mixed in with the pineapple, strawberry, and chocolate. Really good and I think it was only $ 3! A tip: the chocolate malts here are our favorite. So tasty! What I really like about Greek Style Chicken is how much pride they take in their restaurants. The Graves and Wintergardens locations are always spotless and have friendly staff. The bathrooms are always clean. It’s a comfortable place to get fast food from, I’m not worried about eating at a dirty table. Easy to get in and out of too, very short wait for food.

The best gyros, burgers, lemon Greek chicken, and the onion rings are the best in east county, and I look hard for great onion rings. For dessert the malts are rich and tasty with real ice cream. Pricing is worth the quality, and so is the slightly longer wait than most fast food, because I don’t consider this fast food even though I go through the drive through. Was so happy when the Lakesides restaurant opened up, have been going to the El Cajon one for about 15 years before.

OBSESSED! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I used to work out on the road and this was my frequent stop when in the area. Although it is a little pricy(I would never spend $ 10.25 on a salad anywhere else) it is worth every penny. The salads are always fresh and it seems the chicken just came off the grill. Still warm and has so much flavor! You actually look forward to eating a salad… Which is hard for me. Now that I am not on the road my trips aren’t as often as before which is a bummer because I crave it constantly. The only damper is that all of their locations are out in east county. Greek chicken head west! It would be a hit. $$$$

Devastated, disgusted, terrified but also thankful that I didn’t get this NAIL that’s in my food lodged in my throat or it wasn’t in my kids food. There is no excuse for this, absolutely no exception. It’s disgusting when a hair is found in your food, i also don’t think there is ANY excuse for how disgusting that is. But a NAIL??? I really don’t know where I’m going from here or what type of suit I will be filing, but this is a new low for you greek chicken. I’m willing to pay the prices even though I mostly feel ripped off every time. After this though? You better go through extreme measures to make this right. I don’t mean just a refund either.

The service is why I am giving this 2 stars. The girls in there are too busy talking to themselves and making fun of the drive through customers to be polite or friendly with the inside customers. They are impatient as you order(rushing you through it, making you feel like you need to hurry up even though there was NOONE else behind me or in the store) and seem to really not want to be there. The hostility towards the customers though is not good. The night time shift is a different story, nice man, good service. This was day time. The food is good. The Santee store though has not only good food BUTALSO very good service. I will only go to Lakeside if i have to, would rather frequent Santee where people act like the customers are not bothering them.

Have to say this is the least liked GC of all 3 of them. Portions are thin and you have a you rude blonde server at the drive thru– She doesn’t say hi, thank you… nothing but the amount due and almost too cOnsumed with something else for common courtesy. The same thing occurred with my boss and co-workers, otherwise I’m definitely not one to complain and Unilocal but after 4 lunchtime trips, you should know what’s going on. I know it’s a new restaurant so hopefully things will pan out for the best in time.

Got the gyro plate made into a sandwich. Small chicken salad and small gyro salad for my wife and sis in law. Portions were generous. Next time I’ll just order the sandwich OR gyro salad. Salads were also generous for being«small.» Super friendly staff. Pros: friendly staff, tasty gyro. Large portions Cons: had I known portions were so large, I would have ordered less stuff. I’m really reaching for negative things to say. highly recommended if you’re in the area.

I have been a extremely loyal customer here… Despite the ridiculously over priced menu… I have supported two of the locations on average 4 – 5 times a month. But today I was highly DISRESPECTED and borderline DISCRIMINATED against. I simply called the wrong location to pick up a small Greek chicken salad. When I arrived to the other location they told me I need to drive to the other location to get my food«because your food is there». I told them I was hungry and just wanted to order one here. She told me «no your food is over there. It’s our policy.» I said«where is this policy available for me to see?» She continued to deny me service and LIED to me saying the manager wasn’t there and that she didn’t have his phone number. I explained to her that I’m not driving to other location and that I’m diabetic and needed to eat. She said«you have to go there. I can’t serve you any food because we don’t want the food to go to waste». Salad costs a restaurant pennies to the dollar. The most they would lose is the $ 8 of a 4oz proportion of chicken. I said«I will order more food if you need me too.» She continued to say no. Then she said«let me check of the owner is here» and I said«wow so now he might be here? I thought you said he wasn’t». She walked around tending to other things and completely acted like I wasn’t there. I explained how I could just ask my friend to call in an order and then I would pick it up, or I could ask someone outside in the parking lot to order my food instead. So just let me order please. She said no and walked away. Even several other customers were shaking their head… One old man told her«this is ridiculous… Just let her order.» They lost a loyal customer. If I could of give –5 stars

Quick healthy tasty food. This is my husband and I’s favorite fast food and are go to when we just don’t have it in us to cook dinner. We split the #9 all white meat so we get 2 breasts and 2 wings, rice, salad, and soft fluffy pita bread for I think $ 14. We’re happy, full, and guilt free :)

Awesome Greek salads & pitas. I for one am not a fan of gyro meat so I won’t even go there. Pros: tasty chicken, decent prices, good tasting food, clean spot, friendly peeps Con: for the first time I was charged for sauce, about 1.25– whaaaaat? Weird, but watevs it’s good. Pretty cool they opened this 3rd location but it would be nicer if they had one farther west instead of moving more and more east.

This is the newer of the Greek Chicken location. Although I reviewed this location back in March on opening day, for some reason, someone changed the address twice, even after I changed it back to the correct location. But anyways, here I am again reviewing this place, not only for the well deserved review, but also for their great food. My original review: Well, on my second visit, I had their combo number #5 with a quarter chicken, a pile of gyros, a side great salad, and some great warm pita bread, not to mention the free medium drink with a Unilocal check in.( ) The meal cost $ 11. Everything was pretty good. The chicken had a nice house seasoning and a great caramelized exterior color.( ) Although I did not eat it all, the skin was very good. The chicken meat was spot on. Tender and moist and cooked through well.( ) The gyros meat was good and had descent flavor, but I thought it needed a little more cooking time to help crust it up a bit and release more meaty flavors.( ) The side salad was tasty and to my pleasure, filled with fluffy light feta cheese with just enough salty flavor to bring the salad together.( ) The produce was all fresh and the Greek dressing was light, but I little heavy handed. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side. I really enjoyed the warm pita bread.( ) It was thicker than most pitas and had a pleasant texture and mild flavor. Oh yes, their yogurt sauce was very thick with a lemony and cucumber flavor. It went perfect with my mini pita gyros sammis.( ) Great lively service at this location… and they have a drive thru.
