First met Floyd in 2012 when he pumped my septic and just used him again, as I am selling my home. Floyd is extremely personable and friendly, He was quick and thorough, taught me a lot about septic (and what not to put down there!!!) DO NOT WASTE TIME TRYING TO SHOP AROUND AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER SEPTIC COMPANY.
I used Floyd for a septic service. He was professional, knowledgable, reasonable, and most of all he was just a nice guy! I never met him in person but over the phone he was so helpful.
If you’re in some deep you know what, call him. He’s old school but does know how to text and email. Imagine old school service combined with a tad of technology ;)

We called Floyd with Anytime Septic based on his awesome reviews here on Unilocal and we were not disappointed. We needed to get our septic tank pumped because of an odor coming from it but weren’t sure if we needed it done immediately or not. Just from the initial phone conversation i could tell Floyd was very knowledgable and very honest. He went above and beyond for us. He even made it out to our house within a couple of hours of me asking to make an appointment. I would highly recommend Anytime Septic to anyone looking for these services. We will definitely be returning customers.

In brief: Floyd was great! After moving into a new property with septic for the first time, I called him because we didn’t know when it was last pumped and had noticed some odor. After looking at the tank, he didn’t think it needed to be pumped, recommended some repairs (which he doesn’t do so it wasn’t self-serving), and gave us a really good education about how spetic tanks/systems work. When I called to schedule the appointment, he Googled the address and was able to spot the leech field from the satalite views. After all that, he didn’t charge us — he recommended we make the repairs, which would require us to pump then. I felt like he could have told me anything, pumped it, made his $ 400, and left — I never would have known better. He also knew alot about our neighborhood and, overall, really seemed like a guy with integrity. I would use and recommend him without hesitation.

On the low end of the price ranges after checking with most of the places in San Diego. I went with Anytime Septic because the gentleman sounded like a professional over the phone. I was not disappointed.
Mr. Floyd came over and, while pumping out the tank, gave me an education on septic systems and how they work. He didn’t try to sell me anything or get me to spend any extra money. Charged me what he quoted. Worked hard, chatted me up, even rescued the lizards and other critters around my septic cover before starting.
I agree with the other reviewer, I feel he is an honest tradesman. I think that’s rare nowadays. He said he’s been in the business for 25+ years. I can see why. Would gladly recommend him to anyone who asked.
