Lakeland OB-Gyn PA

I have been a patient at Lakeland OBGYN for about 10+ years. The office is always clean and organized and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Sometimes my wait time is a little long but it’s because the doctors spend quality time with their patients, addressing any concerns and answering questions. I never feel rushed when I’m being seen and feel genuinely cared for. Dr. Martino is my regular gyn doctor and I see Dr. Puretz for weight loss. I’ve seen amazing results on the weight loss program and am carefully evaluated each week that I weigh in. I would not get the same level of care in a regular weight loss clinic. I highly recommend!

Well, I haven’t seen a recent review so I will be the first one. I have being a patient for the past two years now.
I would have to say this office is the best, from the staff to the Dr’s. The office is super clean and I mean impeccable, the front desk super professional and friendly. You are greeted with respect and professionalism from the moment you walk in.
Dr Puretz omg, not only is he a gentlemen but he is super professional, the one on one communication, the care, and his treatment is from heaven. He will make sure you are not only comfortable but treats you with respect. I am pleased to say that there are a few Dr’s like him and if you are looking for good treatment, connection and to be heard… This is the place!!!

I will not go back to this clinic. On my first appointment I was instructed to fill out an online medical history. When my computer froze I asked the gal behind the front desk to assist. She looked at me like I had asked her to part the Red Sea and walked away. She reappeared about 4 minutes later and asked what the problem was? The doctor that I saw spoke with a very heavy accent. I felt that she didn’t really listen to my concerns but was very quick to schedule me for additional tests.
My follow up appointment was the straw that broke the camel’s back. What should have been a 2 minute appointment turned into about an hour because my insurance company wasn’t open. I asked the gal behind the desk why they didn’t call my insurance company before I came in for my appointment. She claimed that they didn’t know for sure that I would be in that day. I offered to partial pay for my visit, but that wasn’t good enough. The receptionist then got up from her desk and walked away while I was mid-​sentence talking to her with no explanation. After raising my voice to get some assistance, the other woman behind the desk finally said, «I think she went to find the supervisor.»
I found the customer service to be the worst that I have ever experienced in the medical field. I would not recommend this clinic.

I’ve discontinued with this clinic because they chose to put their patients records on the internet through a third party. While they feel it’s secure, I have been advised that it is not. I just felt they were trying something new and novel before the kinks are worked out. If you don’t agree to this, they will not serve you. Sooooo I left. There are some good doctors at this clinic. However, mine was dismissed from practicing medicine due to an «ethics» incident. Strike three is that their waiting room chairs are very small (width) and uncomfortable.
