We sell vinyl records, turntables, local CDs, T-shirts, and other music related items. Also, we host live music several nights a week in our venue!
History
Established in 2000.
Evolution opened on Pine St in Downtown Lakeland in 2000 as a used CD shop. We moved to S. Kentucky Av soon after and then to 2938 S. Florida Av (next to Fat Jack’s) in 2004, where we remained until 2008. Next we moved to Dixieland at the corner of Belmar and S. Florida Av, changing what we did to more vinyl and less digital. Then we moved back to S. Kentucky Av in January 2010. Our newest store on Kentucky Av hosts hundreds of performances a year on ‘The People’s Stage’ in our dedicated venue.
