History

Established in 1973.

Crowder Bros. Hardware of Lakeland, Inc. opened in March of 1973 as Crowder Bros. True Value Hardware. The store was a joint partnership of John K. Crowder and Carroll C. Bud Phillips, Phillips being the active managing partner.

Over the years, Crowder Bros. Hardware has been authorized as a True Value dealer, an HWI dealer, and since 1988, an Ace Hardware dealer.



Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware of North Lakeland was opened in November of 1996.
