There are a few wildlife trails. There were 2 paths that I did not explore yet. I saw some gators on the way in. There is a fishing pier overlooking a lake. A quarter mile paved path along the lake. Possible snake, bear, and gator encounters. $ 4 self-​pay entry fee.

I had the opportunity to stay at Colt Creek recently and our stay was very memorable. The staff was very helpful showing the layout of the park. There was much to offer including great trails, fishing, canoeing, and looking for geo caches. The park was very clean and easy to get around. Colt Creek will definately be on our rotation.

This is a nice quiet place to walk and fish. It has a cute dock. Dog friendly (please always clean up after your pet). Horse friendly too.
