Established in 1924.

Founded in 1924 as Lakeland Typewriter & Supply Co., Boring Business Systems has been locally owned & operated for over 90 years.

Business Owner

Owner Dean Boring grew up in the company, which was started by his grandfather in 1924 as Lakeland Typewriter & Supply Co. The company has gone through many changes over the last 90 years, growing with the times and the Lakeland community.

Today, Boring Business Systems is located just east of downtown Lakeland in a historic building, not far from where the company was originally founded in 1924, and has over forty-​five employees providing managed business services in Polk, Hillsborough, Highlands, & Hardee Counties.
