Mike-O-Neal Motel

Do yourself a favor and stay far, FAR away from this place! My fiancé and I were looking for a little weekend getaway. We decided that we were going to see the Blueclaws (Phillies single A team) play. We didn’t want to stay in Lakewood, Nj due to Labor Day weekend and the cost of hotels, so we booked a room at this little motel. Well, when we got there the room was suppose to be non-​smoking and it smelled like an ashtray. Then we turned on the bathroom light and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. Then to top it off, We noticed how disgusting the base of the bed looked and when we pulled the blankets back, we discovered hair and (dun dun dun) shell casing of bugs. That was that, I had seen enough. It took some effort but we got a full refund and stayed at the Comfort Inn 2 miles away which was beautiful. Moral of the story? Spend a little extra on a room, it’s worth it. That place is a dive!
