I am very happy with the service and the company. Second warranty call on Wolf oven — done promptly within 3 days. Compliments to Trevor and Sue!

Earlier this week, our eight year old Sub-​Zero stopped working. I have used Sterling Service Group in the past with great success, so I called them again. They completed the service call in less than 48 hours from the time we called it in. Manny, the technician, was a complete gentleman and quickly replaced the broken fan. Our refrigerator is working again, and I feel better knowing that we used the manufacturer-​recommended service company.

Repairman came to repair leak in ASKO dishwasher that is ruining my custom cabinets. Made it worse and left with no commitment to fix or replace??? Called 800 number, said call back during business hours. Took no info!!!

Sterling was a great company to do business with. I needed a specific part and I scheduled an appointment. The part wasn’t in so we rescheduled and then they called again to try and schedule the appointment earlier because the part came in. Matt, the technician, came to my house and he was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. When the office called to confirm they said it should take an hour and a half and Matt was finished in a half hour. He answered all of my questions and did an excellent job. I will definitely be using him in the future.

The quick response, nearly immediate appointment and knowledge of the products they service is outstanding. The only thing that stops me from giving them 5 stars is how outrageously expensive they are! $ 119 for the FIRST 15 MINUTES! I had a technician out to repair an appliance, total time was maybe 25 minutes and I was charged $ 164 for labor.

Fantastic people to work with. They called the day before the appointment to give me an estimate on when they would arrive and then called 30 minutes before they showed up. Fred could not have been nicer and even gave me a quick tutorial on all the parts of my appliance, what they did and how to maintain them. 5 stars all around!

Instructed office what part i needed. Advised that repairman had part on truck and would arrive between 3 and five in two days. Waited all afternoon and repairman failed to call or appear. Called office next day and was assured he would appear the next day. Repairman arrived without needed part and still charged house call fee of 119.00. Quote for part that needed to be ordered was more than 2x the suggested retail by manufacturer and the internet. Go elsewhere.

We called today because our SubZero refrigerator wasn’t staying cold. Within 3 hours, Dave and Trevor were at our house promptly on time. The problem was fixed and they even cleaned up and cleaned the shelves! They were respectful and courteous. I would use them again in a minute. SO MUCH BETTER than the other people we used to use!!!

Sterling has repaired our appliances for years. I am writing this review to express my complete satisfaction with them. We recently had a factory update to our Sub-​Zero refrigerator. Manny was the tech that came out. He was the most professional and courteous tech we have ever had into our home. I hope Sterling gets this message to him.

If you require the best people to deal with, Sterling is the best… from Mary who answers the calls and handles scheduling to an amazing tech like Gary, everything is done in a very timely and professional manner. There the only service people you should call when serving your Sub Zero… the Sub Zero manufacter only recognizes them as there factory authorized repair people in the Chicago area. Gary, the tech that serviced our Sub Zero was efficent, professional, courteous, and the best of all neat. Highly recommend Sterling… wish they serviced more models than they do,

While their service is by no means inexpensive, they are highly professional, efficient, and competent. They’ll come when they say they’re going to come (which is worth a lot!). I’ve been dealing with a lot of home repair and residential companies lately, and it makes me realize how good this company is.

I called Stering Service after hours last night and someone called me back at 8am this morning. They fit me in today! What a great experience working with them, especially after being stressed out that things were spoiling in my refrigerator and my fear of a costly repair. Their technician, Rick, called me as planned in the afternoon to give me a heads-​up as to his timing so that I didn’t have to wait home for hours. He was friendly and courteous, did not do unnecessary things to my unit and explained things well as to why I’ll need to replace certain parts in a few years to get the best life out of my 21 yr. old Sub Zero. He even gave me a recommendation for a trustworthy company for a repair that my oven needs. I highly recommend using this company. I don’t often right reviews, but having such a stress-​free experience is worth the write-​up.

Very expensive service… However, Dave was extremely efficient, professional and courteous!!! They know time is money. They move quickly!!! He made sure that the repairs that were still under warranty were performed at no charge unlike Gulgrens in Crystal Lake who profess to be certified Wolf repairmen. These people r the real deal. Finally! I had the exact same service performed two years ago by Gulgrens. They didn’t bother checking if it was under warranty and had to have it done again.

Okay, this is exactly how a call for service should go. The phone was not answered by some gum smacking late teen/​early twenty, non-​homeowner, she asked exactly what was wrong, and scheduled a service call WITHIN 48 hours. Take note Pella ~ customers CAN be treated kindly. One person CAN do all those things.
Service person calls when on the way to your home, analyzes the problem, fixes it, charges you, and is out the door. Leaves the receipt which states EXACTLY what I said the problem was rather than what the phone answering person feels like typing in.
When a kitchen appliance is in need of service ~ this is who you want to call.
