They are gone now. Breathe a sigh of relief! Stay away! These people will take advantage of you if you let them. Their offers for gold were so low that it left no doubt in my mind that they would cheat any customer they could. Case in point: I walked in with a few pieces of gold jewelry. I was offered a bottle of water while the woman there weighed the pieces. She offered me $ 665.(I had checked gold prices that day and knew the approximate worth of that weight in gold content, which was roughly three times that.) I refused the offer, picked up my gold, and started toward the door. She called me back, and within a couple of minutes and a phone call apparently to some higher-up, her offer quickly turned in to a bit over $ 1300. I knew I could never trust these people and I walked out. Some time later, even with gold prices about 4% lower($ 1601 v. $ 1665 the day I went there) I sold the items to a jeweler for much closer to $ 2000. A reasonable profit is to be expected, but offering roughly a third of melt value is unconscionable. These people should be ashamed of what they do for a living.
