History

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Columbia College Chicago in the spring of 2011.

Business Owner

Animal Photographic is owned and operated by me, Alex Parrent. I have been a devoted animal: owner, rights activist, and photographer for my entire life. Throughout the years I have owned a lot of obscure animals like: Red-​Bellied Piranhas, a Giant African Millipede, a Hedgehog, a Basenji, and countless others. Currently I have three pets: Lucky, a ten year old Rat Terrier, Ms. Jackson, a stray cat I rescued from Mississippi, and Monty, a Ball Python. I earned my B.F.A. in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and have been photographing pets, as well as other animals for nearly ten years.
