I had a craving for wonton and egg drop soup and so I went in and thought the place looked like the typical take out joint. I perused the menu for a good 5 minutes and settled for the mixed wonton and egg drop soup to go. When I arrived home, I looked at the container and noticed that the color of the egg drop soup was a carrot orange instead of an scrambled egg yellow. When I started having the soup, it was rather salty and had 3 wontons… all for 2 dollars! I’ve had better, and I think I was better off trying to make my own.

My search for good Chinese take out continues this time it takes me to Hypoluxo and Jog. The egg roll was the best part of my meal. It was full and cooked well. The Won-​Ton soup was ok not great but ok… had a few pieces of pork in soup and not very brothy. Fried Rice was tasty but not very smokey tasting. Finally the Gen Tao chicken was ok but had no sauce on it and not spicy at all… was basically a tasty nugget. Good Portions and OK food but my search continues.
