Willy is awesome ! Great Friendly service, took my sons bike for some minor repairs. He did a great job. 5 stars all the way !!

We brought our daughters bike here for the first time today. Loved the place. Family atmosphere, good quality work performed at a reasonable price. They replaced both front and back breaks, including wires, and the handle grips. They pumped the tires and oiled the chain, had it in perfect working condition by the time we returned. This will be our go to place for all future bike repairs, tires, or new bikes! It’s great to see companies like this still around!

Amazing customer service! The people who work here are very friendly. I asked them to install a kickstand on my bike. The cost was about $ 14 for parts and installation. It took about 10 minutes. I also bought a bell for my bike. And the man who worked there screwed it into my bike for me without me even asking him to do so.
Unlike other bike shops, these guys do not try to sell you anything. They have a great selection of accessories at very reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning here again.

My first visit to Willys bike shop was about 2 yrs ago, when i was looking for hooks to suspend our MBs on garage wall (i needed 4 ea). They had these particular hooks in stock, but without hesitation, Willy instead recommended that i go to Home Depot just down the street as it would be a just little bit cheaper. That is what i did, but i was particularly impressed that he would have suggested that. Rather than making a sale, he suggested a better option for me at that time.
jump ahead 2 years to today… When my wifes Schwinn F18 electric scooter’s (used at campsites) front wheel started really acting up, we brought the wheel to Willy to check it out. It seemed as though the bearings had lost their integrity and i was hoping that Willy had these specific bearings in stock. Right away, Willy opened up the axle set and determined bearings were shot, but moreover, the axle too had been damaged. the damaged bearings actually grinded down the quick release axle, requiring replacement as well, but for just $ 20, Willy replaced the quick release axle and bearings so that it worked just like new. Let me tell you, if you want great personalized service without someone trying to gouge you, this bike shop is the place to go. They are extremely friendly, provides rapid turnaround, theyre up front, and offer service that is in line with local bike shops when I was a kid. in addition, the store has many accessories, tires, parts and components. If it is not in stock, it can be ordered. These guys are reliable and trustworthy and we will definitely return to this shop when needed. Highly recommend.

An honest bike repair shop – I highly recommend Willy and his shop. I bought a used bike that wasn’t in great shape he got it fixed up at a very reasonable cost. And he guarantees his work: I brought the bike back twice in the following weeks for minor items and he didn’t charge me for the fixes! Great shop, honest craftsman.

Willy does good work! He has helped to keep my 15 year old Trek Road Bike in good running condition.
Within the last year he replaced my wheels with Vuelta Zero Lite Pros. When I heard a grinding in the bearings he replaced them at no charge (with the help of Vuelta). He also did a free checkup of my bike before I rode in the Bike MS Costal Challenge: Santa Monica to Santa Barbara. (He did charge me for the spare tube that I needed for the ride, but I didn’t use it.)

I decided to start riding again after some time off, so I dug my old bike from storage and brought it in… my bike got the full treatment. I’m riding again and she feels like new, thanks Willy!

My husband and I brought in our two beach cruisers for tune ups, changing the tubing in the tires and changing the hand grips… i also got a basket all for 120. Thought the prices were fair and service was super! Also got same day service for one of the cruisers.
Love how its family owned and Willy is super nice!

Really really honest. I bought a specialized p2 so it need it a tune up so i told him to replace my brake pads and front wheel cuz I thought it wasn’t straight. Long story short he calls me next day and tells me that my bike is ready so i got there thinking i was gonna paid way more then 100 so I asked how much do owe u and he said 45 he give me a 5 dlls discount he told me that brake pads were good no need to replace and rims was good too. I really recommend him

Willy’s bike shop did a great job relacing my carbon wheel set. Way cheaper than other bike shop.

We needed a quick turnaround on 4 bikes and Willie did not disappoint. Unlike other shops that looked down their nose at us for not having super expensive bikes he was really friendly and fair priced. He met our quoted price without qouging us for more and did the work quickly.

We rented a U-​Haul trailer from Willy’s Bikes on our way back up to the Bay Area. Though our scheduled pick up day was for Sunday, he gave us a call Saturday to say that it’s ready for pick up and if we’d like we can pick it up that evening at no extra charge.
We decided to take him up on this offer and went to pick up the trailer. Upon first meeting Willy, you could already sense from his friendly demeanor that he was a genuinely nice and honest business owner. In less than 15 minutes, we got all the paperwork taken care of and had the trailer attached to our SUV, with Willy’s help of course.
Great guy and great business! I recommend Willy’s Bike to anyone either looking for a U-​Haul rental or with any of your bicycle needs.

I recently had Willy’s Bikes perform a tune-​up on my road bike. He quoted me $ 50 for a standard tune-​up, then lowered it to $ 45 without any prompting from me. He did an excellent job, and the bike is ready for another set of long road rides.
I had checked a couple of other bike shops in the area, one of which wanted $ 50 and another which wanted $ 60 for the same tune-​up. The shop asking $ 60 offered another $ 20 service to repack my wheel bearings, which was not even possible, as they are sealed on this particular bike, a Specialized Allez with Shimano Ultegra parts. When Willy looked at my bike, he noted in passing to me that the wheel bearings were sealed, and so did not require service.
In the past, I have gone several times to Willy with assorted questions, and he has given me good advice, directed me to other stores that might have a better part than he can provide on a couple of occasions. He has a great customer service attitude.

My brother rented a tow dolly from him because i was stranded out in hanford, ca (3 hrs away) and needed my car back home. Unfortunately my car is in major need of a new motor. When times are tough it is a great feeling to have people that are genuinely nice and thoughtful like willy was to us. He showed my brother how to mount the car onto the dolly and suggested what he needed to buy to attach the tow dolly onto the truck. When i turned it back to him he took it off himself.
The best part he gave me a few minutes extra from the time i needed to turn it in.

Great customer service! Came in for an estimate (baby stroller had a flat tire) and he decided to help me right there on the spot! Was very nice to my baby and the service was quick! Rolled in with a busted up stroller! for an estimate and in less than 10 I rolled out with a new stroller!:). Price for the fix was $ 5.

I rented a Uhaul from here and Willy was great. I called last minute looking for a Uhaul and Willy and Stephanie made the process easy and fast.

Honestly willies bikes has got to be one of the most trustworthy, friendliest, non-​opportunistic bike shops in all of SF.
I have been riding since 2010 and have had over four bikes; which have been all up to par because of willie. I started off with a old beach cruiser, made my way to a pure fix, next a VISP, and lastly a Leader 725 named «the queen.» Willie has worked on every single one of them and the results are always phenomenal.
