The Cabins

Abhorrent customer service.
I’ve stayed at Seven Foxes Cabins three times and each time the customer service worsened until it culminated into an irreparable situation. The property manager, Linda, is rude and treats guests disrespectfully. On the first occasion of poor customer service, I was told I could not visit the cabins during the weekend in which I had booked due to the weather. When I asked to rebook, Linda was discourteous and declined several dates I proposed. She acted inconvenienced to reschedule my stay, even though she was the one who dictated that I must move my reservation. Even after that incident I stayed again and I referred a friend to stay at the cabins. Linda was ungracious for my referral and business. On each occasion I spoke with her to book my stay, she acted as if it was a nuisance.
During my most recent visit, I extensively cleaned the cabin, even though Seven Foxes charges a $ 75 cleaning fee ON TOP of the nightly fee. Even after I extensively cleaned the cabin and followed all instructions, I was questioned about the hot tub usage. She berated me and questioned if I «read the instructions». Linda was ill-​mannered and disrespectful.
There are many beautiful cabins and lodging options in the Brevard /​Asheville area. Don’t waste your money or time staying at Seven Foxes.

Truly not what I expected, in the best way possible.
We stayed in the Raccoon Loft through LivingSocial, which has a lofted «bedroom» upstairs over a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and another bedroom with a door. There were raccoons everywhere! From the lamp, to the salt and pepper holder, to every figurine, to the beanie baby hanging off the curtain rod… there was no mistake where we were! We had a great porch with a grill, and then next to the cabin was an outside area with chairs and a fire pit. Oh, and our cabin had the BEST MOVIE COLLECTION EVER. If you don’t agree with me, there is also directv.
As comfortable as our loft was, I could not get over the nature trails. We stumbled upon one after finding the tree house, and couldn’t stop searching. So much thought throughout the whole area, I loved it. I commented immediately on our arrival how I thought someone had sprinkled the whole area in silver confetti (I believe thanks to the micah), but honestly, I would not put it past the owners to have sprinkled it themselves. So you can pan for gold in the «river», hang out on groovy way, play checkers in a hen house (beware the fox!), and oh, so much more. I think my favorite may have been the tree of prehistoric creatures… not to ruin too many surprises.
it was a little odd being the only ones on property during the offseason, but during its peak times I could see some great times for kids as they make new friends in the common areas, playing horseshoes or checkers.
Seriously, so awesome, I definitely could have stayed much longer! And I can’t wait to return!
Cell/​internet was definitely spotty, so if you’re looking for that type of seclusion, you can get it here!
