We specialize in floral and event design for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, private gatherings such as reunions and birthdays and private events at local Tahoe resorts.

Not having a shop gives us more time and the opportunity to provide the highest level of personal attention for our customers.

Additionally, we provide holiday decorating for private homes, businesses and resorts. We can bring live or cut trees completely decorated with lights and ornaments as well as custom designed wreaths, mantle pieces and centerpieces. The décor will be specially selected and designed to fit the look and feel of your your home or business.

History

Established in 1990.

In the past I have worked in florists in the Bay Area and Santa Barbara.

After moving to the Lake Tahoe area in the mid 1980’s I decided flowers

really were my niche, I decided it was time to start my own business, Martha Bernyk, Floral Design. Over the years my business has grown-​now I am the in house florist for a couple local private resorts which along with weddings and other events, that takes up most of my time.

Working in a florist was my first job, while I was still in high school.

I worked evenings and holidays-​never imagining that it would become a career. During college at UCSB, I continued to keep my fingers in the

floral design world, working a bit here and there. After moving to the Lake Tahoe area in the mid 1980’s I decided that it was time to start my

own business and now more than 20 years later-​I am still here and enjoying both the Tahoe area, with all it has to bring and designing flowers.

I think working with people who sometimes know just what they want and with clients who really don’t know one flower from another-​both

bring a challenge and an opportunity to bring someones dreams,

and vision to reality.
