Best pizza in Northwest Indiana. My grandmother would take us here when we were just little kids. It was very exciting given the other options where little ceasers and PIZZA Hut. I haven’t been back here in over 20 years but I must say that the pizza was still the same. Great brand management. Now that I’m older. I wonder who owns this jewell. Let me know if your open to selling the place.

Just ordered a hot ham and cheese with pepperoncini on side. I’ll let y’all know how good it is soon. Love trying new sandwiches… Sandwich was great. If any complaint it would be the bottom end of bread was soggy which I just picked off. Other than that it had tones of ham and cheese on it. I will order it again

JJ’s has the best pizza in Northwest Indiana, hands down! Their ground sausage pizza is the best. And ironically I don’t even like sausage on my pizza. If you have a party you have to get their supreme stuffed pizza it’s always a hit at my parties with people that haven’t ever tried JJ’s. Their appetizers and French bread pizza are great too.

Not bad pizza and wings. The crust was cheap and frozen, but toppings were generous. Cheese-good. Wings, tiny and low quality. The buffalo hot sauce– delicious, a lot of vinegar, but still tasty.

Food was okay. Said it’d be «about twenty minutes», took them thirty. Ordered hot wings, and the wings were burnt and very, very mild(at best). Deep dish pizza is NOT deep dish; just has a big crust. So big, in fact, that the outer crust composed about 30% or more of the surface area of our pizza. The cheese was tasty, though.

I’ve had it with these idiots! Making a pizza is not that hard, but time and again they screw it up. Tonight, as usual, I asked for extra sauce on my pizza because I don’t like dry pizza that tastes like cardboard. After my wife returned with the pizza we realized that there was practically no sauce on it. I called and spoke with the manager, Crystal, who informed me that they has screwed up and pushed the«easy sauce» button instead of the«extra sauce» button, because they’re right next to each other. She offered me a five dollar credit which I insisted she raise to at least $ 7. A couple more bites and I realized there was no way I was interested in eating this nasty pizza and I called again and asked for her to refund the pizza in full since I wasn’t going to eat it. She refused, saying that she could not refund the whole pizza unless I returned it. So after waiting for 45 minutes, and my wife going to get the pizza, now we’re supposed to bring it back because they screwed it up? I told Crystal that if she insisted on me bringing back the pizza I wasn’t going to be happy and she would not only loose a customer, but that I’d share my experience online as well. She refused and left me no option but to leave my house again, and return this waste of a pizza back to an unapologetic JJ’s for my refund. They’ve always got some excuse or another why they can’t make your pizza how you ask, and even after admitting to me that they screwed up, Crystal was unwilling to make it right. I’m done with these clowns!

Nice selection on the menu. There are a lot of pizza places to choose from in this area, and I would rank this one among the best. If you’re having a large number of people over, I would suggest the Party Size Deep Dish. It is almost the size of my front door and has 45 thick slices with perfect sauce, loaded with some of the tastiest cheese ever. Pick any toppings you want — they all rule. They have a large list of hot sandwiches served 6 inch or 12 inch. I’ve had the Italian Beef, Ham and Cheese, and French Bread Pizza Sandwich; all were delicious. The fries — not so great and served in greasy paper bags, but who cares. Their wings are very tasty and the hot sauce is great. You can buy a bucket of 48 for under $ 20. Their Chef Salad was crap. It tasted like the tin box it is served in and the toppings come straight from the pizza station, complete with soggy canned mushrooms. Ugh. That’s what I get for ordering a salad from a place with righteous pizza. Their prices range from affordable to kinda high, and the delivery time is always an obnoxious hour regardless if you get a monster sized pizza or an order of garlic bread. Placing an order can sometimes test your patience due to long waits on hold and a hectic cashier taking your order while doing about twenty other things. Overall, the good outweighs the bad.

I took my 84 year old grandma and 10 year old niece to this place. They both loved it. I’m a tougher critic but still enjoyed it. The girl at the front counter was kind, patient, and helpful. She gets 5 stars. The prices are more than reasonable as well. The pizza was good, but not incredible. The fries were good, but only slightly above average. The fact they had breaded zucchini chips was an absolute plus. On my own I would give it 3 stars, but my grandma’s happiness prompted an extra star.

THISPIZZAWILLROCKYOURWORLD! Well… your street, anyway. J & J’s Pizza Shack turned Shack«franchise» is wonderful. There are several locations but Lake Station is my favorite. Don’t let the name fool you this place may look lackluster but the pizza coming out the kitchen may knock you down and here’s why. I have to admit the crust is delicious… the sauce seems standard, and the ingredients are nothing to write home about but their signature pie is what keeps me coming back. «Everything BUT the Kitchen Sink», lives up to its name. Not only is this pizza loaded but some how the conglomeration of all the pizza ingredients known to man piled on some of the most tender, delicious, succulent pizza crust and topped by gooey mozzarella cheese morphs into pizza heaven. Try it!

I love JJ’s! Every time I go back home JJ’s is a must. Their sausage pizza and chicken wings are phenomenal. Delivery times can be a bit long but the employees are always pleasant and the food is well worth the wait.

The best pizza in NWI, at least if you are like me and like your pizza big and slightly greasy. The stuffed with sausage and mushrooms is phenomenal.
