If you enjoy paying restaurant prices to sweat while eating off of styrofoam plates and drink soda from plastic bottles, then this is the place for you.
This place was so disappointing that it inspired me to write my first review.
First off, it was hotter inside than it was outside (at least 80 degrees).
I got the beef brisket, and it was a greasy, mushy slop. The only flavor was in the sauce. The choice of sides was limited and also tasteless. The Mac and cheese was sticky noodles with no cheese flavor.
It’s basically a concession stand.
This was the worst $ 40 I’ve ever spent (for my wife and I).

My boyfriend and I love finding new bbq places and this place didn’t disappoint. We got the meal for 2 tonight and it was delicious. It was like a sampler of all their food and every thing tasted like authentic barbecue. Also, everyone was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

I’m from Boston aka. no good BBQ food available :(On a recent family trip in WPB, we wanted to try some good BBQ here in the South, and Mrs Smokeys did not disappoint.
I’m so glad «Scooby Snacks» on the menu did not mean dog food. Thankfully, they turned out to be delicious beignet-​like «fried biscuit» sliders, filled with your choice of creamy mac & cheese, chili, or vanilla ice cream. We tried all three and still crave them on occasion!
Ok, BBQ Talk: the baby back ribs, beef short rib, and chicken were all flavorful, meaty, and tender. *Tip: don’t be a newb — order the ribs with sauce *on the side*! We also really enjoyed the deep fried ribs — first time trying them. The brisket, however, was C+ because it was *chopped* brisket… why would anyone massacre such a beautiful piece?!
In the end, we left happy, full, and wanting more, especially them ScoOooby Snacks :) Check-​in on Unilocal and get one for free!
PS. Love the cowboy décor and the barrel-​disguised sink with a foot switch — perfect for messy BBQ hands :)

Good BBQ place, beef brisket is good and the beans and sauces also have great flavor. We are from out of town and eaten here twice and the food was still good quality on both occasions.

The BBQ is amazing. Had the Cowboy with Brisket, Ribs and Chicken. Falls apart. Sauce is really good. Fried biscuit is awesome and different. The sides were the only weak part. Standard coleslaw and bake beans. Nothing special about the sides but knew this coming in. Service was awesome. If I could give 4.5 stars I would.

I love the tasters at this place! The ribs are good, however I wouldn’t recommend any of the other sides including the macaroni and cheese… Just not that good. The barbecue sauce is amazing! I love how they help you pick out what sauce is perfect for your taste buds. I stopped frequenting here for a while after I noticed how rude the owner was with some of her cooks. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I hate seeing employees being mistreated. On my colleagues last day at work, This was the only placed second wanted to have her going away lunch. I went with an open mind and noticed it was a nicer vibe in there (not the same cook, but same manager was present). All the staff was very cherry, cleared away our empty dishes and thanked us for coming. They just need to tweak there Mac and cheese recipe and a few others and they will be 5-​star status.

I enjoyed some good local Florida style bbq. Beans were great and I paired it with brisket — yummy ice tea was good and refreshing.

THE BEST BBQ in Palm Beach County. The food is consistently good and the fried biscuits are AMAZING. We often suggest and bring friends to this restaurant and it quickly becomes their favorite as well.

I found this place on Unilocal because of the great reviews. I have family in KC so I fell in love with bbq. I never found a good place down here for it until now. I recommend this place because of the food, atmosphere, and service.
I got the beef brisket which comes shredded I usually like sliced but it was very good. It comes with 2 sides I got tatter tots which were average and the Mac n cheese was good. The deep fried biscuit was amazing. Never had 1 but I’ll definitely have 1 again. And the homemade apple pie with dessert was great

My family and I eat here at least once a month. Phenomenal bbq and staff is always friendly! We always make sure we pick up a bottle of their sauce to use at home. Would recommend this place to anyone.

So this is probably like my fourth time going here. This time I got ½ rib platter and smoked chicken noodle soup. Oh also lemonade that I asked for, no ice but they ended up giving me every ice cube in the cooler. Guess what thou!!! I’mma give them a hall pass thou because the food is on point. I just dumped the ice out and hoped that I didn’t spoil the flavor. It didn’t; it was still cool, not to sweet but not too sour either. Actually the ice, just chilled it. So I haven’t had the food yet but I’m about to. I’m not going to return back. That’s how much confidence I have that it will be good.

Excellent place. We were down visiting from New York City and wanted some BBQ that doesn’t come from a chain restaurant. We came across this place on Unilocal and decided to check it out, we also got a free snack for checking in on Unilocal.We came here on a Saturday around 12, workers at the counter were very nice and helpful with helping us decided what we wanted to order. They bring the food to you and it was very delicious. We had baby back ribs with Mac and cheese, cold slaw, pork sandwich iced tea and lemonade all were very EXCELLENT and spot on.

Came by because the review was good. However was truly disappointed. We order the brisket and rib tips, both were very dry with big amount of sauce slapped on it. The sides are not good either… Wasn’t even able to finish the food. Worse the PA BBQ

My father and I are in central Florida for spring training. We are staying on Springer Island. The area immediately surrounding the hotel doesn’t have a lot going on. I used Unilocal as a trusty way to find out where we should eat dinner.
Mrs Smokeys Real Pib Bar-​B-​Q was only a couple miles away. I think the reviews had me when they mentioned the fried biscuits. The restaurant is small and it seemed a good portion of the business was carry out. They do have couple tables though so we ate in. I got a split platter with pulled pork and brisket. For checking in with Unilocal I also got a free «Scoobie Snack» which was a fried biscuit and mac and cheese (high five Unilocal app).
The food was excellent. The potato salad was just eh and my dad didn’t really like it. Mrs Smokey was working that night and asked him if he wanted another side instead. It was really nice of her to do that and the new side (a mixture of corn and lima beans) was great. We got two piece of pie to go (key lime and pecan).
The owner informed us she also has a second location close to the Cardinals’ spring training complex. We may stop in there later in the week!
Oh the sauce is hot and a bit sweet. If you normally get hot order mild etc. I like spicy and sweet sauces though so it worked well for me.

I had the turkey sandwich and taters with the medium BBQ sauce mixed with mild BBQ, which the waitress recommended. My fiancé had the brisket sandwich with mac-​n-​cheese and BBQ baked beans, which he really enjoyed.
I recommend this little restaurant for a quick lunch stop in. Staff was accommodating in explaining the menu as it was our first time there.
We were even able to use our Unilocal app for a promo for a free Scooby-​snack! Which was a fried biscuit with chile, which was so good.
Overall, we would dine here again! Another satisfied customer!

As a southerner I love me some good bar-​b-​q and Mrs Smokeys Teal Pit Bar-​B-​Q is an isn’t.
The rather small storefront barely has room to order. It is one of the tighter set ups of a restaurant that I have seen. When you enter, the old city charm of the area is evident. The staff always greets you with a smile.
I have had about everything on the menu and can say that it is filled with hits and misses. The hits mostly revolve around the meat, the misses are all focused on sides that come with it. If they could even out there offerings, I could easily give them four stars.

I had the ribs (dry rub) and tater tots and they were excellent. I think hey have 3 parking spaces and it’s small but my food was great and I would go here again and again.

First off I drove 35 miles to try this small chain over the one in Jupiter because of the reviews. I am giving this location only 3 stars for two critical points. 1. The food at this location is not smoked here, that’s done in Jupiter and delivered everyday. So I was expecting to inhale delicious smoke as I exited my car and inside the restaurant. My hopes were crushed as I smelled nothing. 2. I was expecting delicious and juicy SLICED brisket, but it was served chopped like pulled pork, WTF, WHY??? If I wanted chopped I would have ordered pulled pork. The menu should reflect that. And the chopped brisket was flat, no hint of smoke, and dry cause it was chopped.
So with all that said, the great was the medium spicy piping hot BBQ sauce and the delicious fried biscuit that I dipped in that sauce! The medium spicy caused happy sweat streaks pouring down my face. And my two homemade sides of Mac @ Cheese and baked beans were 5 stars.
So please, please smoke on property each and every day, and slice the brisket!!!

This BBQ joint was ok. Nothing special and nothing stood out except the extremely spicy hot sauce. I ordered the baby back rub dinner which comes with 2 sides (I chose mac-​n-​cheese and tater tots). Unfortunately, the ribs were a little too dry for my taste. I think the tater tots were sitting under a heat lamp for some time as they were lukewarm and soggy. The mac-​n-​cheese was pretty tasty, by far the best thing on my plate, which isn’t a good thing.
I was a little disappointed being that Mrs Smokeys is a dedicated BBQ smokehouse. I’ve had great BBQ all across the country and unfortunately this isn’t one of them. The food just didn’t seem freshly made for some reason. Sorry.

Stopped for a quick lunch and had the $ 8.00 special. Large drink, excellent cole slaw, moist and perfect pulled pork sandwich. Lots of in house made BBQ sauce choices.
Seating is funky but then again you won’t be there long. Seating outside for cooler days. Only drawback and reason for just four stars is the A/​C isn’t up to the job.
They make good simple food, priced right and five star worthy.
