At Gin Clear Charters we specialize in trolling, kite fishing, and live baiting in the waters off of Palm Beach, Florida. Fish species you can expect to encounter on an outing are dolphin, wahoo, kingfish, sailfish, blackfin tuna and more. We accommodate parties of up to six for half day or full day fishing trips. The Gin Clear is a 38′ Smith custom express fisherman, perfect for chartering off of Palm Beach.

History

Established in 2014.

Captain R.J. Torsey has over 20 years fishing experience in the waters off of Palm Beach. As the former mate on the Baby Grand under the guidance of Captain Ernie Small for over 9 years, he has learned the skills and techniques necessary to run a successful charter operation. Captian Torsey began running the Gin Clear in March of 2014 soon after Captain Small retired and sold his boat. Experience is a must in this business and when it comes to charter fishing this captain and crew will put you on some fish!

Captain RJ was relentless with his pursuit of helping me catch my first billfish. He and his mate, Mike, worked their tails off to put us on some fish. We «kite» fished, something I had never done before & on the very first run we had a «double» sailfish hit, the first of several we experienced on 1÷19÷15. RJ and Mike put us on the fish and they helped me land my first sailfish. That make me a very happy man. They also put me on several nice dauphin, mahi mahi to most, which sure tasted wonderful on the grille that evening. I will definitely charter with Captain RJ and the Gin Clear again. I recommend any time you are in the West Palm Beach area and want to experience some great fishing, charter the Gin Clear with Captain RJ!
