I visited Tucker’s Shuckers today for Happy Hour. The exterior of the place is sharp and modern, but the first level interior is… meh. TV’s everywhere… I mean, everywhere… all set to sports channels and a music station playing music that wasn’t by its original artist. It was nice and clean and plenty of staff on hand at 4:30 for the number of occupied tables. Their Happy Hour ½ price apps include Buffalo Chicken Dip, Coconut Shrimp, Double Down Wings, Crispy Calamari Strips, Buttermilk Onion Rings, Buffalo Bites, and Chicken Strips. Their 22 oz. Domestic Draws are $ 3. They also have a Happy Hour Wine Special, but I don’t remember the details. My server, who didn’t give his name, was friendly and attentive, and gave his opinion of different dishes when asked. I ordered 6 of the Sriracha oysters, which are served with a bit of french bread. They are not spicy at all. I fact, in only one oyster could I taste the Sriracha at all. However, they are a delicious dish as they are. Next time, though, I would probably order something else, given the lovely selection of oysters they have to choose from, including an Oyster-of-the-month posted on the chalkboard over the bar. I also ordered an appetizer of Crispy Calamari Strips, which are cut from a steak, house battered, fried, and served with sweet and spicy aioli. They were truly tasty, although a tiny bit salty and the breading fell off when I tried to eat them with my knife and fork. They are definitely worth ordering again. Along with a $ 3 beer, tax, and tip, the bill for just myself came to $ 27. Not exactly a super-cheap Happy Hour bargain, but a nice way to enjoy a Mom’s-night-out and try some delicious food. I will bring back my husband to try the onion rings some warm spring night when we can sit outside.

Worst Oysters ever! Next time I’ll buy a fishing pole and catch something fresh. They served oysters that sat around all day in a fridge.

The food and service here is amazing! The calm chowder is the best I have ever had and they have a large draft beer selection! My favorite entrée has got to be the ginger glazed salmon served with a side salad, a baked potato, and a vegetable. It is sweet and satisfying… a savory comfort food for sure! I really think the bad reviews here must be from when they first opened and we’re trying to work all the new business kinks out still. The service is fantastic! The servers and bartenders are very attentive and really seem to know what they are talking about. I highly recommend this place.

Ok, food is fine, drinks are fine but we have been here 2x for party night, and can’t find the party… It’s like a restaurant that wants to be a hip nightclub but there are still people dining on the dance floor at 10pm! My suggestion is to do the nightclub thing upstairs.

Back in hometown for Christmas and wanted to try something new on the strip, almost didn’t stop based on Unilocal reviews alone but it looked nice(especially for the area, very nice compared to other surrounding places). Unilocal underrated! Tried the Buttermilk Onion Rings and Buffalo Chicken Dip(which we ordered another round of it was great) Got the Fatty burger that was great, everyone else in my party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. Upstairs was closed(Due to being Christmas Eve and only a few people working) but we went up and checked it out it was super cool and had a great view. Don’t live in the area anymore, but will defiantly be back when I am visiting.

Some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere, period. I haven’t had better seafood anywhere on the lake. Highly recommended!

A group of six went in for dinner, five adults and one 7 year old. As an appetizer, we ordered the beer bread-a scored sourdough loaf covered in beer cheese, bacon, and green onions. It was delicious and very filling! My entrée was the creole shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were delicious and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were decently sized and well Cooked with a very strong rosemary and butter flavor. My aunt ordered the prime rib with the same sides as I. Sadly, the prime rib was incredibly disappointing. No one at our table is a food snob but all thought it was awful. She ordered it rare and it came well done, something that she decided not to bring attention to. But it tasted as though it had been warned over from another day and really lacked any seasoning at all. For as much as the menu talks it up, it was a huge disappointment. The lobster roll with blacked lobster was smaller than expected but was satisfying to my uncle. It was full of good sized pieces of blackened lobster that had a good kick to it. Overall, the atmosphere is great, the service good, and the food is delicious but I wouldn’t say it is all worth the price you pay.

Very glad that the Dam Strip area is coming back to life! This is a very nice new restaurant bar with 2 levels. Great upstairs open area overlooking the strip. Modern and cozy downstairs also. There was 4 of us for dinner and everything we had was great! Starters we had were Irish Nachos and Scallops on the half shell Dinners were Corona Fish and Chips, The Rolls Royce Sandwich and the Lobster Mac & Cheese, The best thing was the Lobster Mac & Cheese, it was a huge portion very rich and creamy. The drinks were flowing and cold. The wait staff was good and right on! We will be back several times!!!

Tried the Rockafellas oysters and it was my first time trying oysters. They were good! Bartender was awesome and the place was really nice inside! Great place to watch sports or sit out on the patio and enjoy the view of the strip!

We saw that Tucker’s only had 2 ½ stars but we went anyway and were pleasantly surprised. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We had chargrilled oysters and scallops on the half shell, both were excellent! 28 choices of draft beers and the lemon drop martini was wonderful. We will be making this place a staple in the future.

Do not recommend this place if you are really hungry… Service takes forever… Food is not that great. Not an oyster person but my friends who ordered them said they weren’t the greatest. Basically if you’re on the strip, don’t go here.

I was very excited to eat here unfortunately I left because of the service. I walked in with my family of four, it was not busy(four table tops max) so it was a seat yourself as one of the staffers told us on arriving. So we went up stairs to the outdoor patio which was beautiful and we had amazing weather. We sat down for 10 mins; no water, no menu, no one come by to greet us. I saw three servers at two other tables which I made eye connect and motion to come over which I was ignored! I When we got up to leave no one tried to ask what happens or try to compensate. It was a horrible experience.

We stopped in here for lunch, it wasn’t overwhelmingly busy but it was a Monday. We sat down and waited quite awhile to be waited on. We also kept trying to order and the waitress would walk away. One of the people in our party is an avid beer drinker and was asking about some of the beers on tap, the waitress had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. Maybe a little more training would’ve gone a long way in that department. We were about done with our appetizers before we could flag her down to get silverware and napkins, something we should’ve had from the get go. We had a spicy appetizer and had to suck on our ice because we had no refills for quite some time. One in our party asked for water about 4 times before he got it. However — we got the cheeseburger sliders and they were absolutely amazing. The fries were awesome too. The oyster poor boy was good however looked super skimpy, only 4 oysters on it. In short, the food was very good, but we won’t be returning due to the lack of service.

Just stopped in today. Was excited to see an oyster bar had opened at Lake of the Ozarks. Limited oyster offerings. The very few oysters on the poor boy sandwich were excellent. The calamari strips were very good. Prices too high for the bar food here. Took forever to be waited on and that only happened after we stopped someone to inquire if they had a wait staff. Poorly trained staff here today. Okay draft beer selection. Too few craft beers. Open air restaurant and bar with a fly problem. Started out hopeful … Ended up disappointed.

Came in for some birthday oysters and appetizers on a Saturday afternoon and we loved it! Great beer selection, cold and fresh oysters, and friendly service! We will be back.

Lobster Mac and Cheese was outstanding! Service was very good and the drinks were just right. Returned for round two this past weekend. The grilled oysters were awesome as were the fried oysters and calamari. However the lobster roll was bland. More mayo and slaw than lobster… I was disappointed based on the other items I’ve had to date.

Great food all around. We ordered 6 different items and and onion rings for an appetizer. All were delicious. The service however is pretty abysmal. Our server was MIA for a long time and since I arrived to my party late I sat with no drink or food for about 10 min. We saw someone bring a tray of food upstairs and set it on a table for the servers to run. It just sat there getting cold for a long long time. I’m glad it wasn’t ours. As I write this I’ve just watched a group of 6 walk out after not even being greeted. Another is getting pretty furious as well. Also haven’t been greeted at all.
