I love this restaurant. I’m so glad I finally went. I had the most romantic dinner with my boyfriend. The food and wine was amazing. Really everything was perfect. The only thing that bothered me is that are cute little blond server was kind of hitting on my boyfriend. She was so chatty I couldn’t believe it. But I’m a confidant women and I let it go. My boyfriend is pretty hot I can’t blame her. But I definitely won’t bring him back there. I’m hoping if a wait a few years she won’t work there anymore and then I go back. I just know that if I went back and it happened again I would not be able to bite my tongue. Other then that it’s a great restaurant.

I took my wife to Tucci for a quiet birthday dinner. The food was fabulous and the ambience was just as good The entire staff worked as a team and seemed so happy The owner Greg should be proud! Thumbs up

Tucci is my go to place in Lake Oswego. I had dinner there a few nights back. I had the Scampi for an appetizer it was amazing loved it. Then I had the Orecchiette and loved it. I finished with the Filet Mignon. This has to be the best Filet in town.

No flavor. We sent the $ 18 orrichiette back because it was the worst pasta dish we ever ordered and like five spoonfuls with bits of tiny fried pork bits. Menu is boring. I love italian and nothing good on menu so i ate a a cheeseburger which was bad too. No seasoning on small patty. Bun had burnt flavoring from toasting which overpowered entire burger. Pizza was overly spicy with bad sauce. And everything was so expensive. Bar area has nice ambiance. Other tables were sending dishes back too.

Portland is replete with Italian joints. It seems like every month a new provincial Italian restaurant opens in the metro area. Tucci Ristorante is an old stalwart. They’ve been doing it right in LO for years and there’s a reason they have a large following. From the décor to the service to the distinguished selection of regional plates from the kitchen — Tucci’s a great place for a date night or a late night. I just feel so bad that we’ve been absent for the past couple of years. I forgot how much I enjoy the place.

I’m still thinking about my experience at Tucci days later. There was nothing redeeming about this restaurant. The food was not tasty. The mussels were barely cooked through. The risotto was so overpowered by Gorgonzola and the Arabiatta was at best a plain marinara. The prices are exorbitant for the quality and the amount of food you get. The service was dismal, too, and the place was almost empty. I foresee a very bleak(and deserved) future for Tucci.

Please pay close attention to the bad reviews, this is one instance where you will be sorry if you don’t. The food had NO flavour, none at all. How difficult is it to make spaghetti? You’re better off eating at the Olive Garden or Spaghetti Factory. Both places are sub par yet Tucci fails on every level. The server wasn’t terrible, yet she was in a hurry to always leave when we had questions. The restaurant was not busy, yet our food took a ridiculous amount of time to reach our table. For the prices they charge, and meals consisting of no flavour at all, you’d think they’d attempt to make up for it somehow; yet once again they leave you with TINY portion size. We wanted to enjoy this place, but would not think about going back. Way over priced for terrible, inedible food. Try Riccardo’s in Lake Oswego, heard they are good. Huge disappointment.

Week night; restaurant half full, and it took over an hour to be served our two(non-entrée) salads – no cooked food, no soup. Just a salad and a glass of wine. I finally had to ask the bus boy about our order, and our waiter never returned. A different bus«girl» closed us out. I did not complain, and we were gracious the entire time. Our experience prior was good, however, the service was so bad this time, it superseded any previous good thoughts.

We absolutely love the bar! Amazing cocktail selection and good bar menu. Only reason for 4 stars is that I’m now blown away by the restaurant side for the price. Will remain regulars for the great cocktails and food.

Wonderful Italian cuisine in LO. Service is always spot on. I’m vegan and for what it’s worth — they do have many options. Love the pasta! Ambiance is terrific — romantic but also great for friends and family. Strong wine list. But the food and service are among the best I’ve experienced in LO — not going back to Manzana or Five Spice!

One of Portland’s absolute première Italian restaurants! We are very thankful it is in Lake O. The staff are amazing and knowledgable and the menu is thoughtful and inspiring. Everyone truly cares about the service and taste and everything is made to order so if you have a special dietary need they can and happily will accommodate it. Good for gluten free options too– all their pasta can be made with gluten free noodles.

The food did not have any flavor and on top of it you didn’t hardly get any food at all. The prices were really high and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

They have an excellent selection of wines and they have a lot of items that vegetarians will definitely appreaciate. I have been here multiple times and have yet to be disappointed.

The stand out thing about my Tucci experience was the waitstaff. Our waiter was the perfect combination of attentive but not obtrusive, totally casual and friendly. The food was great, I had a pasta and my friend had a pizza. Both were excellent. I liked the combo of casual but fine dining. Recommend.

Tucci is another example of what is lacking in the restaurant options in Lake Oswego. The place is packed despite mediocre pedestrian food. I sent back a pasta dish that was inedible — so much garlic that it was all I could taste. The pizza that I ordered as a replacement for the pasta was limp and soggy. Ugh. So sad. I don’t get it. I live in this neighborhood and I won’t go back.

We stopped by for dessert after dinner a few blocks away. This turned out to be an excellent choice. I absolutely can back this as a romantic dessert place. My fiancé got a Affogato al Caffe and a port. The affogato was outstanding, which implies to me that both their espresso and gellato are excellent. I got a dessert that had a couple things on it, some filo purses with nuts and fig that were pretty tasty, some almond florentine(brittle) that was AMAZING… I would have eaten a plate of just that, and a panna cotta that I turned out to not like. I love panna cotta so that was disappointing. After a chat with the bar tender(we ate at the bar) we decided that the goat cheese added to it, which I should have loved, changed the texture so it didn’t feel like panna cotta and put me off. He said it was tasty if I’d give it a chance, but I couldn’t get past the not panna cotta texture. We were thrilled with the whole experience though. I’m not complaining. I would love to go back for dinner. Also, interior is lovely and beautiful low lighting.

I came here with my boss and client for dinner. We were seated right away and the server was nice. We ordered: Calamari Cabbage wrapped lamb Linguine and clams The fish of the day — seared halibut Chocolate polenta cake All the dishes were good — all were very tasty. My favorite was the linguine and clams(how could you go wrong) and the cake polenta which was like a lava cake and the dough was very moist. The service was okay– she forgot our coffee, and items we asked for like red peppers and cheese. Food I give a 4 stars and service a 3.
