The Little Gym

The Little Gym did a wonderful job with my twins’ 4^th birthday. Jordan and Cassie did a great job entertaining 15 kids ages 3 – 6 which is tough! All of the families in attendance commented on how nice of a party it was. The Little Gym rocked it!

What a great place for a young child’s birthday party! It wasn’t too expensive, and they handled everything perfectly. They mailed invitations, decorated, entertained the kids, served food (with gloves on!), and cleaned up! They even had the kids clean their hands between playing, and eating! Beyond the basics, I was incredibly impressed with the two teachers, Mariana and Crimson. They had an incredible amount of energy and seemed truly happy to work there. They engaged the children in fun activities during teacher led time, and also played with them during «free time» which freed up us parents to chit chat a bit. I didn’t feel rushed or stressed at all. They made my birthday son feel special, while also managing to include his older brother in a way that made him feel special too (while all the other kids had a blast as well). That is not something I’ve seen successfully handled at any other place we’ve been to for parties. Also, I had a range of ages (mostly 3 year olds, but a few 5 year olds and a 2 year old as well), and they managed to make it fun for everyone.
They only do one party at a time, so you get undivided attention while you are there. I would highly recommend this place for a birthday party to anyone with a bunch of 2 or 3 year olds!

They were fantastic!!! I can not recommended them enough! They did everything! We just had our twins first bday there today and I couldn’t get to the computer fast enough to write this review because I was SO impressed! They sent invites, I dropped off my decorations and they had it all set up when we showed up, they served the kids juice, pizza and cake… And then they cleaned up! It was the BEST experience I could have imagined. They were so on point and put together. Have your child’s bday there you won’t regret it!

Great place for birthday parties for the little ones! My 3-​year-​old wants to go everyday! Great on rainy days instead of the park.

Amazing, the teachers are always nice courteous, they remember my name, my kids names, my wife’s name, i had been going for 4 years started bring my newest kid and unfortunately we moved and we are now finding ourselves 35 minutes away, so i looked for classes and gyms and places to take my kids. Not only is it WAY more expansive but the level of attention and fun for kids is no where from the quality of The LITTLE GYM, nor gymboree. Ella is always friendly and happy to see my familly, Natalie always tries to speak a little french to my kids (the little extra care) and SEAN run this caring little gym with a fantastic staff.
They CARE They have FUN, they LEARN.
I misss t/​he little gym so do my kids.
And their birthday parties, amazing hosting parents must stay but the rest may go next door and have some bowling kid free fun. For the host family it is care free, for the kids just plenty of fun and activities. I rewarded Keaton, Mariana, the two teachers that took care of my daughter’s 25 friends, they had their hand full… and they were great

We LOVED the little gym! Charlie Mattison had her first birthday here and we had a blast! It was fun for the adults and for the kids! I love that the big kids and adults could join in on the fun! Charlie ran all over the place and it was super nice that she could let her energy out without having to worry about her getting into things! They were super accommodating to us and let us put up our own little decorations! But they also had balloons hung tied up and decorated the party room! The table is small so it was good for her since she is only one she could sit in her own chair! The best part was all of the things to climb on and the inflatable bounce mat! Everyone had so much fun on it! We did more of a free play because she is so young and it was the best! It’s also super nice that only one party goes on at a time so you can have the entire place to yourself! Not like other play places where it’s crowded and loud! It was all about Charlie! Very pleased!

Their staff is discourteous and inept. Horrible experience. We have been here three times now and have had bad experiences with the assistant level staff every time now. They have raised their voices with the kids and been impatient and rude. Will never come back.

My family really loves this place. The staff is super friendly and my 3 year old loves them. We just signed up as members and my son has gone to one summer camp. You can drop off your child or stay. The have free wifi which I used during the 3 hour summer camp.

We had our Daughter’s B’Day party here and were completely satisfied with the event. The teachers were great in engaging the kids through the activities and all the kids had a blast! Absolutely great service and the team went out of their way to help us and we were pampered as hosts I would say. Surely recommend them for Kids parties

We recently had our son’s birthday party here, and could not have been more pleased. The employees were great hosts and engaged the children throughout the 90 minutes. Unlike other places that host birthday parties in the area, I felt like we got our money’s worth and the kids had a great time moving from activity to activity. Highly recommended.

Through the grapevine I’d heard of a place even better than Gymboree, The Little Gym. Was it possible? Even the parents at the Gymboree class I attended were talking about how Gymboree regulars were now going to The Little Gym. I decided I had to find out, all for the sake of my 2-​year old, of course. The class I wanted to enroll Alison in was filled and we were put on a waiting list. About 1.5 months later, we got the call– there was space available!

We immediately took them up on their free introductory class and I counted down the days until Alison and I got to experience The Little Gym. The place is what you’d expect– super-​friendly staff, clean facilities, lots of singing and playing, and lots of equipment for the kids. The activities we did were similar to Gymboree, but there was none of the sit down lessons about a topic or crafts projects. It was a more physically-​based program.
Overall, it sounds fantastic for the kid with too much energy, right? Now for the down side… at $ 15 a class, I was turned off by the class size. They packed the class full with 18 kids. Maybe I’m just used to paying $ 15 for swim lessons at Children of the Sea where class size is limited to 6 kids. At The Little Gym, the class size is limited to 18! Even Gymboree had a smaller class size when we attended, more around 10 (whether or not this is average, I don’t know). So, it was pretty much organized chaos while we were there.
At one point, the toddlers did an activity where they played on an inflatable bounce house that had no walls. The instructor asked all the parents to stand around the structure and spot the kids as they bounced on it. What really irritated me was that with 20+ parents surrounding this thing, a majority of them were not paying attention to the kids– deep in conversation with one another, texting, or simply standing there with their hands in their pockets. How are you spotting a child falling off the inflatable when you’re doing any of these things?
Yes, my toddler was one of those unfortunate ones who jumped a little too hard near the edge where a parent was supposed to be spotting and had a bad tumble. It’s kind of hard to break someone’s fall if you’re not paying attention. I saw it coming and couldn’t get to her in time because there were so many parents «spotting,» to the point it was over crowded.
I voiced my concern regarding parents spotting to The Little Gym when they followed up with me about the class and am happy to hear that they will re-​evaluate this activity and their procedures. Alison had a blast, but she’s not the one footing the bill. Mainly due to the large class size, I think we will be going back to Children of the Sea for parent-​toddler swim classes, where we can pay the same amount as The Little Gym and do an activity with a smaller group and where I’m the only one responsible for my child’s safety.

Just had my daughter’s 5^th birthday party and what a success! We had a great time. The staff there is always awesome (we’ve taken some classes and had another party there). They take care of everything for the party. Set up, play fun games, serve the cake, even write down who gave what gift for thank you cards, then clean up! It’s absolutely the best place to have a party!

We just started taking our 17 month old daughter here and she LOVES it! Wonderful balance of free play on their equipment and organized events with parent involvement (she’s enrolled in a parent-​child class). It’s a bit expensive but worth every penny. And the class time (8:30AM on Saturdays) is super convenient for our family.

I have a special needs child and The Little Gym’s noncompetitive model not only lets him feel valued, but also lets him feel like every other kid there without being singled out or labeled as «different.» The Little Gym absolutely goes the extra mile to make sure every child is included and has a good time.

My daughter takes their 4 year old gymnastics and just loves it. The instructors are great with children. Worth checking out ! And they give you the first class free. They offer gymnastics, tap, danceand karate.

I just visited The Little Gym for the first time last week and it was amazing! My little boy, who is normally shy, couldn’t get enough of the people and other children. He immediately came out of his shell and was crawling in the other parent’s laps and exploring as quick as he could crawl. The staff and other families are so friendly and welcoming, I could not have asked for a better experience. We will definetly be going back for more!
