Sally at Platform Artistic Salon

I found Sally thru Unilocal and am so grateful that I did. Having just moved to the area I was expecting to not have a happy experience. It was the opposite and will be going to her for years. She was able to match my color perfectly. She was so nice and friendly and welcoming that relaxed immediately. Sally is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone.

I’ve been going to Sally for years and she always does a great job. I get many compliments. She’s very nice and thorough and pleasant to talk to. She’s conscientious and won’t let you leave until you’re happy! I highly recommend her work.

2^nd review! Sally is so amazing. I came in with a budget and some hefty roots that needed some TLC and Sally walked me through our options. I walked out feeling fierce, gorgeous and my expectations were exceeded, again! Sally is funny, smart, personable and very very good at what she does. The salon itself is warm, clean, sassy and plays the best music (thanks, Sally for the recommendations!). I followed Sally from Wallflowers to Salon Be. Since I first started seeing Sally a couple of years ago, I have just grown fonder and fonder of her. She always has a great disposition, really listens to what you want and tries to produce that look for you. Not only that, she provides good feedback which, personally, I super appreciate, because she has a better sense of what will or will not work from her years of being a hair stylist. Sally has no reservations giving you her honest opinion. Her technique is solid and I have more than once been surprised to see that my hair turned better than I thought it would just because I wasn’t sure how well I had explained myself. I also appreciate that she is not a hard sell when it comes to hair products. She will make a suggestion but doesn’t make you feel bad if you choose to pass. I’m hoping she will be very happy at Salon Be and that many new clients come to experience all she has to offer.

Go see Sally Harris! I followed Sally from another salon in Portland after seeing her for over a year there. We laugh, she cuts, she colors, and I walk out always feeling GREAT about my hair, and refreshed from lots of laughter. Sally will let you read if you want to just read or chat about anything and everything, and she always has great ideas for how to make the most of your hair! She will give you suggestions or let you go with what you’re comfortable with. Super cute salon, very friendly and comfortable.

First hair cut with Sally. My wife went and saw her and loved her and sent me and now I’m a huge fan too. No reason to go anywhere else. Very cool person. Great conversations and best hair cut I’ve ever had hands down.

Sally is fantastic! She is extremely professional and caring. Her main concern is taking care of her clients. With an amazing eye for style, she provided me a up-​to-​date hair cut and color. I get compliments everyday! I’m thrilled!

I highly recommend Sally at Wallflowers Salon. She’s been my hairstylist for over a year, and she is great at what she does. At every appointment, Sally listens to what new style or color I want to try and she isn’t afraid to tell me if it will compromise the health of my hair. She wants to make me look great, and I appreciate that! She is creative, stylish and incredibly knowledgeable on current products, colors, cuts that will work best for me. At my last appointment, Sally suggested a leave-​in conditioner that would help moisturize my hair, and I have been so pleased with it! Sally is top notch, go see her!

Things that set her apart from other hairdressers I have been to:
First, she is considerate and kind. She didn’t ask if I was going to prom this year (I am 24, yes its happened multiple times).
There was no awkward chit-​chat. She is a great listener.
She let me know every step of the way what she was doing.
She listened to my needs and what my hair was like (lots of people don’t understand naturally curly hair).
I have a tender head and wasn’t in pain for even a second with Sally.
Lastly, I walked out with silky smooth hair and a sexy cut! I LOVE the way my hair feels. Even better I know it will look just as fabulous even after I wash it.
In summary: I will definitely be back and highly recommend her!

UPDATED REVIEW*** Sally Harris is a FANTASTIC talent — I followed her from Roberts of Portland to Wallflowers AND NOW I see her every four weeks at Salon Be in Lake Oswego. i have really thick hair and quite a lot of grey — when I started seeing her in April of 2012, I had been coloring my hair for about a year with classic dark-​brown «box» color. Sally has an amazing way with precision cuts and a tremendous eye for color. She has transitioned my color from a very cool dark-​dark brown to a very soft, glowing light-​brown with beautiful highlights! I constantly receive compliments. Other services that I would recommend from Sally; eyebrow shaping/​waxing and makeup/​skincare. I look forward to each appointment because Sally is so intelligent and engaging, always enjoy our conversations — I do consider her to be a friend as well as a trusted professional. I love her new location at Salon Be. The atmosphere is peaceful, the product offering is phenomenal. Good parking lot, and right next to a Starbucks! :)

I followed the lovely and talented Sally Harris to Wallflowers from her previous salon. Sally is what everyone hopes to find in a hair stylist: stylish, artistic, professional, detailed, visionary. Quality is important to Sally and you can see it in the products she uses and the services she provides. One thing I love about her is her consultative approach. She wants her clients to leave happy with their results and feeling great about their look. And she gives the best shampoo EVER.
