Craig was very informative and answered all of our questions in great detail as we walked through. He also gave us advice on the next steps of our inspection process and good insights(The sewage line needed to be cleaned in the past, as evidenced by a sticker on the pipe, so there’s probably at least a minor issue with it; get at least 3 bids for the roof work, etc.) The report had a lot of detail and photos of the issues). He also told us about how the house would handle potential upgrades in the future like dormers and a second bathroom. I’m only bumping one star down due to some minor customer-service issues — One being addressing my husband(who kept telling him«My wife is the handy one, not me») when I was asking all the questions and engaging in the answers. He wasn’t ignoring me, by any means, but definitely a little something to work on.

Robin S., your review is an outlier, outlier being defined as an observation point that is distant from other observations. Moreover, the majority of your reviews are one out of five stars. Craig was easy to talk to, which is important, and has an approachable, good humored nature. But what matters more is the home inspection itself, the findings, and the attention to detail. He delivered it all in spades. From the foundation to the roof he covered it all. He told us the degree, urgency, and estimated cost of all the«findings»(what they call the problems with the house). He took the time examining the house, listening to us, and offering advice. When I select a home inspector, I don’t just pick number the one with the most reviews or the highest rating, although that can be a good place to start, I interview them. He was the one he performed the inspection on the home I ended up buying. Out of all three home inspectors I hired to perform a home inspection, he was the easiest to work with, and delivered the best report. Highly recommended!

Craig inspected a home we were planning to buy, He told us to come for the last half of the inspection. He arrived early and did not let us know. He was done in one hour and fifteen minutes and was done before we could get there. He failed to mention some issues we felt were important but it now makes it impossible for us to negotiate on due to his report. Siding just says wood, not T 1 – 11,. He said to observe some issues; observer during heavy rains(it is early Sept.) How do you do that with a sale? He failed to mention rust and water stains around light fixtures. He verbally mentions some aluminum wires but the were not in his written report. Overall we do not feel that he did not do a thorough job with his quick inspection and we wanted to be there. He told us to wait and we ended up missing it. There has to be better ones out there. A sellers dream.

Craig Poindexter of Pacific Home Inspections Inc. inspected a house we were thinking about buying, and did an amazing job. He was extremely thorough — he took the time to look at every aspect of the house and test all of the appliances. He went up on the roof and even used the crawlspace to get under the house and completely scour the foundation, etc. We were particularly impressed by this(it was a very tight crawlspace). He let us follow him around during the inspection and very patiently answered all of our many questions. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He had the report to us the very next day, complete with pictures and all of the information we needed to make a decision. We would absolutely choose him again as our home inspector, and recommend him highly.
