We have been to Simply Posh 3 – 4 times and have purchased various items. However, we had a question and an issue with an item and met the with manager. He was very rude, smug, and lacked any kind of customer service. In fact, that gal next to him at the counter was embarrassed by his behavior. There are many other consignment shops that we will look spend out money at in the area.

It’s called Simply Posh, so I expected a more upscale boutique than what this store has to offer, especially right in Lake Oswego. It’s packed full of clothes, but there is no personal service, or at least, I wasn’t given any, or even acknowledged, when I was there. It feels a lot like a Goodwill, which is fine, if that’s what you’re looking for, but if you’re looking for a fun consignment experience with a point of view, I would try some of the other consignment stores in town.

Had a good experience. The lady who helped me consign my clothes was kind and good and explaining their policies since it was my first time with their store. I brought in 50 items, they took 10 plus some shoes. After a 20 minute wait(which is incredibly fast) they returned my items that they did not want. The lady even told me to bring back some items in a few months when the weather changes when they take fall/winter items. I appreciated the tip and will definitely be back in a few months. Overall a positive experience!

Very disappointed with my consignment experience. After bringing in several formal dresses, they took 5, not bad, but the next day they called me to come back to pick them up. The owner decided they didn’t want them. Not really convenient for me to drive 30 minutes away to pick them up. While I was in there, I heard a lady questioning them for misplacing her things. I’ve heard they steal from people.

A man who works there looked at my husband and I said«that kind of trash doesn’t belong here in this neighborhood» excuse you, you work at a consignment store sweetheart, you’re not above anyone else.

Having had a decent experience consigning at the McMinnville store, I headed over here to see about an alternative to Buffalo and Crossroads. The store is beautiful. Clothing is nicely displayed and organized and it really feels more like shopping in a boutique than a consignment store. Prices reflect that, however. It seems like if you’re shopping for designer clothing, these discounts will be well worth your time here, but if you’re looking for clothing from Forever 21 or H&M, you’ll probably pay close to what you would pay at the actual store. As far as consigning goes, I brought in two bags of things. I quickly was told, «We ask that you bring everything in on hangers». Well… ok…sorry. No worries it seems, as she looked through what I had carried in anyways. I had about 10 pieces of clothing, some brand new, a new pair of shoes, and two brand new prom gowns. The McMinnville store had taken previous gowns off my hands, so I was hoping this place would do the same. No such luck. The associate suggested trying the McMinnville store. No thanks, I’m not driving to McMinnville for that. All in all they only decided to consign my new shoes. I paid $ 5 for them from Icing’s website online. The opposite of high end, but at least I’ll probably make my $ 5 back. She didn’t want anything else, stating that it was«a little too loved» even though some of it was new with tags, so I’m a bit confused about that statement. They seem to be just as picky as Buffalo Exchange, which means they are way more exclusive than Crossroads. Good luck. On a side note, I did overhear a conversation they hire people under 18, so this might be a good place to look if you’re in high school and need some cash.
