Lake Oswego conjures various impressions in people from the Portland area but one thing is very clear as soon as you walk around the downtown area is that they are proud of their community. In summer, there are hanging baskets everywhere, but what is way cool are all of the statues they have everywhere. They call it «The Gallery Without Walls». It is of course free and is on display every day of the year, rain or shine. I have written several blogs about the artwork: past and present. Here are links to some of them: The Gallery Without Walls Totem Sculptures that will disappear in July New Sculptures in Gallery Without Walls 2011 part 1
