Owner Bill Erickson and staff have been providing quality service and repair with an 18 month unlimited mileage warranty on all our work since 1989. ASE Master Tech Jim G. has been with the company since 1992 and ASE Master Tech Greg C. has been with the company since 2002

Owner/​operator since 1989, Bill is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician, an Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, a DEQ Certified Advanced Emissions Specialist. Bill was born and raised in Lake Oswego and has over three decades of experience providing automotive repair and service to local residents and is well known for excellence in car care. After hours Bill serves on the Automotive Advisory Board at Portland Community College. In the summer you might catch him around town at local farmers markets and fairs playing a variety of instruments in the folk band SawTale Ridge.

I took my car into Erickson’s a few weeks ago because I wasn’t getting any heat out of the heater. (Brrr!) Bill discovered that this particular problem had a special 10-​year warranty on it and referred me to a dealer to get the repair done for free. A less honest mechanic would have just fixed my problem and charged me for it. Thanks for the extra effort and honesty!

Erickson’s is top notch.
Since buying my Wrangler, this is the only shop I’ve used and never had any issue. The staff is friendly and Bill, the owner, is great. It’s clearly important to them that customers understand what’s going on and which repairs are needed vs. which repairs can wait/aren’t a big deal. For a female with little car knowledge, that’s a huge plus!

We have been going to Jeeper’s, now Erickson’s Automotive for over 10 years. Bill consistently provides excellent service. He and his team are courteous and knowledgeable. He is always very clear on repairs that «need» to be done and those that can wait — or if something is just needing to be watched. His comments and recommendations are always most honest and we have never felt like something was recommended or proposed that didn’t need to be done. I only wish that he serviced Mercedes! I would (and have) recommend him to everyone.

I have dealt with a number of automotive shops in the past, but Erickson’s is the only place I have ever had my Jeep serviced, and I couldn’t be happier. I trust Erickson’s to do the right work, the first time, for a fair price.
Communication with the shop couldn’t be easier. They are good about calling to give status updates while performing service and sending emails to keep me up to date on maintenance needs for my car.
I trust that the service recommendations I get from Erickson’s to be honest and what is in the best interest of my car (and my wallet).

Bill and his team at Erickson’s take great care of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Quality mechanical service, fair prices, and excellent customer service during each visit. From complex repairs to basic maintenance, they can do it all. During my last visit for an oil change, I had a brake light out. I purchased the bulb, but did not have the proper tool to install it myself. Bill installed the bulb at no charge! I would recommend Erickson’s to anyone looking for a good, honest mechanic. FYI: They service most makes of cars, not just Jeeps.

Bill runs a great shop. It all started a few years back when he took care of the heater core issue in my 02 Grand Cherokee Jeep. From then, I haven’t gone anywhere else. I still shop around (to get prices and piece of mind) but this place can’t be beaten.
From regular maintaince, heater core, to rear end differential I count on this shop to take care of my Jeep.
They are always courteous and the work quoted is accurate.
