History

Established in 2012.

The Double L, or the «Two Els,» represents not only the photographer’s initials. Double L Photography is a husband and wife team. Lincoln is the master of the camera and the artist in Photoshop. He’s also been in love with cinema since seeing his first film in the theater. Melissa is his wife: former model, current ballet dancer, and style expert. Both share an innate skill for dramatic creativity.

I started with photography to capture my wife Melissa performing ballet. On a quiet Saturday night we decided to goof off with the camera, my newly purchased flash unit, and some La Perla lingerie. When the images were posted, our Facebook notifications blew up like never before.

I guess you could say we discovered a talent, and something that we enjoy doing!

I’ve been mentored by some of the best names in the business, including Christa Meola and Julian James Wilde, the latter with whom I share the most opulent studio on the west coast.

In addition to private commissions, I also create commercial fine art nude & beauty photography, and will soon be launching a publication. I have also been featured in NIF Magazine, Pinup Alternative Magazine, and will soon be appearing in a feature on Boudoir International’s website.
