History

Established in 1981.

Thanks in large part to the efforts of then Managing Director Rob Lee, an early partner at Bates Private Capital and current member of our Board of Directors, the firm continued to expand its horizons. Demand increased not only for the firm’s core retail securities expertise but its growing expertise in forensic accounting, valuations, ERISA matters, economic modeling and e-​discovery. On April 1, 2011, under the leadership of President Jennifer Stout, the company was repurchased and Bates Group LLC was reborn. Building on its expanding expertise and technology, Bates Group LLC continues to offer unsurpassed analysis, reporting, and expert witnesses in retail securities litigation. To further serve its client base, Bates also offers top flight research, regulatory and compliance consulting services.
