Accent On Art

I’ve taken a few prints and maps there to be framed over the past year. Diana and DJ have been so helpful in guiding me through what will work best for my items. Their work is top-​quality and with great turnaround time, and their prices are super competitive. The only place to when you need something framed!

I’ve had many items framed here over the years, and cannot recommend Diana highly enough. She’s friendly, helpful, talented, receptive to your wishes and possessed of a great eye for style and color. The prices are very reasonable, especially in light of the precision and care she takes with your pieces.
I’d also like to mention that she can frame some pretty unusual pieces just beautifully. She and her husband have made custom-​built shadow box frames for several really unusual items for me, and I’ve gotten many compliments on them. If you need something «different» framed – not just a photo or a print, maybe a mask or a flag – this is absolutely the best place to come.

Easily the best framing store around, and they’ve been around for at least 20 years. I’ve had about a dozen items framed, from prints to posters to certificates, and even a piece of the astroturf from the old University of Michigan stadium! I have metal frames, wood frames, and a shadowbox too. The price is in line with other shops I’ve called (although I’m pretty loyal to Accent on Art now!). Everything looked beautiful and really professional.
I think their quality is top-​notch because the owner is an artist herself. Diana makes great suggestions as to color and material, but always is attentive to what I’d like. She’ll ask about where the art is going to be hung, my wall and carpet color, and even the furniture that’s in the room. That kind of service is pretty amazing these days. There’s never a rush to get me out the door. I feel like I can relax, and I can check out the art and knickknacks by local artists that they sell there.
Another great amenity: there’s a basket of toys for my kids! It always takes a while to pick the right moulding and mat, and my kids can play while I’m looking at the thousands of options in front of me (what can I say, I’m picky!).
