History

Established in 2000.

In 2000, Terry French bought Capital Cartridge, a defunct non-​profit company in Lansing, Michigan which had employed the mentally-​handicapped to re-​manufacture toner cartridges. He restructured and renamed the company, Laser Connection Lansing, LLC. In a short time, dissatisfied with the inconsistent quality of re-​manufactured product, we began offering and having tremendous success with factory-​manufactured compatible supplies. With our few years experience troubleshooting print defects, we began offering printer service and soon after began selling printers and other office machines. In the summer of 2005, we built our current office/​warehouse building conveniently centrally-​located between Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, & Lansing. A few years later in response to customer-​demand, we began offering print services. Shortly thereafter, Annette McCord, the previous owner of the Ionia Office Works store joined us, completing our services with a full line of office supplies and furniture.

Meet the Business Owner

Terrry F.

Business Owner

Terry French was born with polio. He graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin, where he met his wife, Joy, and they had their first son, Jesse. Afterward he helped plant some missionary churches in Vermont. While there, he and Joy had another son, Jason. In 1984 Terry was called to be a missionary evangelist. He and his family traveled the country holding revival meetings in small and large churches, preaching the Gospel. He and his family spent the winters in Florida where his third child, Joanna, was born. During a few sabbaticals in those many years, Terry also spent a year as Christian Schoolteacher, a year as a salesman for a multi-​million dollar company, the vice-​president of I.T. for a bank, and eventually the CFO for a company which served as the gateway into this business. Terry has also been the senior pastor at a couple different churches. He currently divides his time between administrating this company and working with struggling churches.
