Tutto Bene

Absolutely will not be back. This has been one of my favorite places, but I received the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant tonight. We waited 20 minutes to even have a waitress come to our table, and another 40 before the food came out. Even better, the waitress forgot my food, so I got to sit and watch my friends eat. It was absolutely atrocious, and no one at the restaurant seemed the least bit concerned about it. I’m actually sitting at the table posting this while my friends eat. I’ve never been more disappointed in a restaurant at any level.

Ordered take out.
I ordered the sausage Stromboli. It comes with sausage, peppers, onions and cheese. I ordered it without peppers. When I got home it had mushrooms, onions, sausage, pepperoni, and cheese. It was good, but I don’t like pepperoni which I why I ordered the sausage one.
I also ordered chicken Marsala. The pasta was way overlooked, mushy and soft. I think they ran out of Marsala wine since there was no taste of Marsala whatsoever. The chicken was tender and cooked well, but the taste was like pepper.
Lastly I ordered the garlic knots. The bread was fresh and cooked perfectly, but they were covered in oil and herbs. No butter, no garlic. If they described it as herb knots, it would have been more accurate.
If I were eating in I would have sent every item back. I kind of think they could have made some things that are great, but I guess it wasn’t my turn to get any of it. Maybe I will give it a try for dine-​in next time. Maybe.

My previous visit was a sit down dinner. We ordered a pie, a salad and knots. We were not impressed. I was not planning on going back but I really wanted pizza and I was already in the area. This time I ordered 2 slices with toppings with knots. The twice baked crust was crispy, but very, very dry. Half way through the slice I was looking for something to dip my pizza in. Luckily I had the marinara from the garlic knots, which was very sweet. Maybe a meat topping would provide some oil? They were generous with the toppings, so they get a point for that. The garlic knots were pretty but unfortunately that didn’t translate into flavor. They were chewy and doughy but the bottom half were just saturated in oil. They literally dripped olive oil when you squeezed them.
It’s cheap, but not all that good. Luckily even bad pizza is still pretty good.

Gone here off and on for a few years. They have two cheese and drink for $ 5.50, that is kind of high compared to other places. Thiese are 18 inch slices. I am used to getting 2 twenty four inch slices and a drink for $ 5.00 or less.
The slices were a bit doughy, and had a lot of cheese. Not my type of pizza. But I can see other liking this, so I will give average.

Was promptly and pleasantly taken care of by a sweet female server and I ordered an Italian sub with delicious, house-​made balsamic vinaigrette on the side. I can understand why they serve the vinaigrette on the side, but it’s not easy to put it on my sub without a squeeze bottle or even a spoon. That said, it was a decent sub, I’d try a different one, next time, though.
I also had a slice of cheese pizza which was HUGE and totally loaded with cheese. Nice crust, but if you don’t eat it while it’s still hot enough to burn your mouth it gets a little less crisp. So, live dangerously.

The previous reviews were over a year old so i decided to write my own. I moved from NY a year ago, tried pizza in almost every place in the area. HATED THEM ALL! Until one day I stumbled upon this place, best pizza in the area! Reminds me of NY pizza. Its perfect! They must have changed their staff and pizza maker from 2011(year of previous reviews) their waitresses are sweet! If your a student of SSC you get 10% off! I don’t know about the rest of the menu I only had pizza here.

Great food. Pizza is real New York style and they have great coupon Deals and specials ! Really glad that the Nasty Vivonas went out of business so that Tutto Benne could replace them with really good food !!

Just a quick visit for lunch. Nice pizza crust. I had two slices of meat lovers and a soda. Service was brisk and a bit brusque for such an empty place. No serious complaints but could have done without the distraction of Fox News and the radio going at the same time. Will have to try more menu items to get a real feel for this place. PS. My bill came to $ 8.51 tax included. I put $ 10.01 on top of the check and sat there writing and finishing my soda. The waitress came by and scooped it up, nut NEVER RETURNED WITH ANY CHANGE. Admittedly that was my intention, but, mind reading aside, there was no communication. Just her assumption. Caveat Emptor.

We were served a tasteless pie that had been sitting too long, even though there were no other diners. It had the wrong topping and not enough sauce. You get the picture.

I ordered baked ziti for takeout; the dinner entrees do not include salad it is $ 1.75 extra. When I went to pick up my order the salad was stapled inside the same bag as the baked ziti and sitting on top the oven. The salad was hot and inedible. The bake ziti itself was very dry with hardly any sauce; very disappointed in the experience.
