This is probably one of the very worst orthopedic doctors in the Central Florida area. If you’re looking for a band-​aid fix, want to mask your pain, and want your doctor to interrupt when you speak, then this is the doctor for you!
Also, he may cut you open and work on the wrong body part apparently as well, because he seems to be burnt out as a professional and doesn’t really pay too much attention to his work.

Came here for my shoulder pain on a Monday afternoon. Appointment was set up a week in advance with no issues. I am a new patient, brought all my information, filled out paperwork before hand and was totally prepared. Got checked in and was asked to wait. I sat there and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited for an HOUR AND A HALF! I watched everyone get called in before me who came in after me! Blood was boiling at this point. I asked the front desk lady if I was forgotten and she said No, they were running really behind. It would be nice if someone came out and said something and acknowledge that I was there. Then as the room was empty and I am pacing around, the lights go off. REALLY?! I totally felt like chopped liver sitting there like a moron waiting. This can’t be normal, right? I am sure they fall behind plenty of days but at least make sure you tell your patients who are waiting…
Dr. Halperin finally saw me after waiting nearly 2 hours. Luckily he was personable and explained what was wrong with my shoulder. He gave me a steroid shot in my shoulder, send me home with meds and an exercise routine to help the shoulder. The visit was not even 15 min long. I am not giving this place a one star because the Dr. Halperin was so charming and nice. His office workers should learn a little about communication and customer care! Because I have to go back for a check up I will but I hope I don’t have to waste my time feeling like an idiot in a waiting room again!
