By far the best place to get fresh fish in our area. Good selection. They also know what is the best fish for whatever meal you are having, and can give you good advice on how to prepare it.

I found this place this week. The guy was so friendly and helpful. A little out of my budget but I’ll just have to work harder to afford it. The swordfish I bought was so fresh as were the mussels and salmon. I gave in to temptation with the key lime pie. It was worth it but I’ll be resisting it from now on until I lose a little more weight. I’ll definitely be back.

Have been driving from Lake Mary to Lombardi’s in downtown Orlando for years because I assumed this place would be super pricey. Sorry… I was mistaken! The seafood is just as fresh and only a tad bit more expensive. Not as much variety, but what they do have is oh so good. Customer service is excellent. So happy I finally stopped in.

After wasting time & $$$ trying other fish markets, where I got stanky old product, (and last time 2 giant flies IN THE BAG WITH THE SNAPPER) I just went back to LIGHTHOUSE SEAFOOD in Lk Mary. Have never gotten anything but super fresh fish here. Made tacos from fresh LIONFISH FILETS they had last weekend, & it was delicious. Amazing diver scallops, too. They usually have fresh whole fish in the back, and will prep to your specs, so if you don’t see what you want, just ask, they’re nice super accommodating people. This little shop is at the NE corner of Country Club & Lk Mary Blvds, by the RR tracks. It’s a bit hard to find if you’re not familiar, but worth looking for. Haven’t found fresher seafood anywhere in Orlando area that’s not still swimming…

Very glad I find this place. Everything I bought was really good. I got some mussels, shrimps and snapper. The staff where all really nice and willing to answer all my questions. Coming from a place where I grow up with the ocean as my backyard that means a lot. Thank You! Definitely going back.

Grabbed some lobster tails for Father’s Day and they were the best we ever had ! The price was good too. The owner and team really care about the customer and the freshness of the food. If your looking for central Florida’s best seafood you need to do yourself a favor and check out lighthouse.

I have been to Lighthouse twice now, each time I received absolutely outstanding customer service. My first visit, I only made a small purchase (just a few dozen shrimp) and my second visit I spent over $ 150. I cant speak for everything in the store, as they have a wide variety of seafood’s available for purchase — however I will say that everything I have purchased (lobster, crab cake, grouper cake, shrimp, and tuna) was OUTSTANDING. Reasonable priced, very fresh. Would recommend this seafood shop to anyone!

I am happy I found this place! They have great prices on fresh fish! I was there early on a Sunday and they had grouper, trigger fish, sword fish and much more. It looks like the make Poke Bowls, Key lime pie and many other items. My new go to for seafood.

Best place to find the freshest seafood! I visit multiple times a week for fresh sushi grade tuna and salmon. The staff is kind and courteous and they go out of their way to make their customers happy. They even go as far as to prepare my select seafood in a little snack pack type lunch with the sauces I ask for on the side so I can immediately eat it. They really do go the extra mile to make their customers feel welcomed and appreciated! I haven’t found better service or selection anywhere! I’m a customer for life!

I enjoy fresh seafood and have gone to multiple fish markets in central Florida. Without a doubt the best has been lighthouse. It has the freshest seafood and the best variety that I have ever seen. I especially like the sushi grade tuna and salmon. When I’m lucky I’m also able to get their fresh Chilean sea bass which is vastly superior to the frozen one found elsewhere.
Service has always been fast and friendly. They have always taken that little extra time to help with my order. After a few visits they even remember you by name

Never going back! Horrible service, horrible quality and you don’t get what you pay for! Count your oysters, because we paid for half a bushel, but only got 36!!! Meaning we paid over $ 1 an oyster! There’s lots of raw bars where we pay less! On top of that the ahi tuna was full of white ‘veins’, so I had to cut my tuna into pieces to cut it all out, losing 5 ounces and my nice seared tuna…

Put an order in for top neck clams. They said they would be hear Friday at 1:00.
Went to the store after driving 15 miles and they said all they had was these tiny
Little necks. Very poor customer service.

I came here for the freshest sushi-​grade Ahi tuna, and discovered a gem that I had been looking for in the area: Made to order, in-​house created, Hawaiian poke (pronounced poke-​ayy) with a side of seaweed salad. I tried the traditional sauce over raw Ahi tuna and salmon — It was so good that I ordered another half pound to go. It’s usually available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but you can call early to request it on most days.
Lighthouse Seafood is full of enthusiastic workers, and a quality product that cannot be achieved without having a surplus of passion and in-​depth knowledge of ingredients.
I’ve been here many times, and, of course, I’ll be back.

Can’t say enough good things about this market! The freshest and best seafood around! And these people really know their fish, so friendly and helpful. Great soups and gumbo as well, and be sure to try their fish spread and tuna spread. And if you’re into making sushi, ask about their sushi grade fish which they will custom cut for you. Don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t found this place!

By far the best fish and seafood around. Have shopped there dozens of times, and never had anything but great fish. Very fresh and I never feel ripped off.
If you don’t see something you like, they will try to find it.

This is local business ran buy a very knowledgeable owner Tim who is hands on and works hard to ensure everything he sells is the freshest quality available. I have always found Tim to be straight up and honest I personally like his directness he will alway take your criticism and try to make things right. He also understands not everyone comes in and knows exactly what they want or how to prepare it properly to get the best results so he can from time to time get reviews that are less than favorable there is nothing he can do to make someone competent on how to prepare outstanding seafood but always offers good advice. There are certain protocols required to get outstanding results when handling or preparing fresh seafood like properly cleaning clams or mussels this can be the difference of getting outstanding results or disaster. This is not imported frozen seafood that has been pasteurized and mechanically processed that requires no skills to prepare you get what you pay for here the best available.

Well I had to chime in after reading Lynn B.‘s review. I’ve been coming to this place for years and I’ve never, I mean never been disappointed with the quality of seafood I’ve purchased. I found out about this place through a former co-​worker who quite frankly I couldn’t stand so I was skeptical. The owner is friendly but he is curt and to the point. I don’t have a problem with that. I’d rather buy top quality fish from a somewhat terse owner than buy mediocre fish from someone blowing kisses up my rear. He buys from several day boats working off the east coast of Florida and if you like buying whole fish, and you should, he has the best in the city. Lombardi’s has a larger selection but it’s nowhere near as fresh and the store smells like the bad end of a wharf. It’s a simple little place that sells the best fish around. I’ll end with two thoughts.
1. Never buy cheap fish unless you’re at the dock. Otherwise it’s cheap for a reason and the reason ain’t good.
2. Lynn B. seems to write reviews with a chip on her shoulder. I took the time to go through her pages and I’m not impressed. Her catch line is sophomoric and is intended to be «edgy» but comes across as little. Her writing is an example of subjective tripe. Unilocal is intended to have strong opinions yes but with objectivity being paramount. Lynn’s various hatchet job reviews would be poorly written even if they were positive. I’m guessing she’s the kind of patron that stiffs the waiter when it’s obvious the kitchen screwed up.

Hard to understand Lynn B’s unintelligible rant in her recent Unilocal review of this place, except perhaps she’s from a place that doesn’t have an ocean anywhere near it!
This is the kind of establishment that, if you’re a fish purist like me, is a «find». To even think that somehow Lombardi’s Seafood is on the same level is like comparing a local farmers’ market to a Sysco delivery truck!
This family run fish monger has nothing but the freshest and best locally sourced fish anywhere. You don’t have to be concerned about anything in this store not being up to the highest standards. The proprietor just wouldn’t have it!
I’d like to think I could recommend one type of fish over another but because the catch is seasonal and fresh, it changes. Rest assured, if you know what fresh seafood is and care about what you put into your body, shop here!
Also, try a bowl of the fish chowder while you’re waiting for your order to be wrapped up. You won’t be disappointed.

Just cause it opens, doesn’t mean it isn’t dirty and nasty, it only means it alive.
Did you know that it is a «animal» and adaptable, like us as humans, to adapt foreign matters?
I can not stress enough don’t buy from here. To say the dip is great is just nonsense.
They use so much such, to cover the lack of natural flavoring, only people with no palate colud tolerate it. Feed it — to no never mind– just don’t buy it.
They have the worst customer service ever there. Dare ask a real question: Where exactly does such and such come from? they will only answer in generic answers not in specific terms. Oh how nice– this is a Five star from Elites.
I was in on Sat, I did not buy, I went with a friend, who did. SO, he, we, wanted to check out my negativity as he has been here many times and bought bulk. .
The grouper was nasty to me. but what do I know? His answer was your kinda right, this is not fresh and more then a days old — was on ice too long.“

PS I have been clamming myself from coast to cost, how bout you? Have you ever dug for a razor clam as I?
Also, any good fish needs nothing more then a low and slow, perhaps over coals, with lemon and some oil. Voila, a meal, in itself.
Anything else, is gratuitous foreplay.

Lighthouse is a tidy, family owned shop located in the shopping center at County Club and Lake Mary Blvd. I’ve been shopping here for a year now, still happy to report there is never a «fishy» smell, ever. The cases are always stocked with the freshest and best fish and seafood. This trip had me on the hunt for the ultimate FL seafood dinner: Fresh mussels, grouper a Key Lime pie and some smoked fish dip for my folks to enjoy later. The Royal Reds and FL Brown shrimp were temping, but my family was looking forward to mussels.
The owner had just fileted a new side of grouper, which when weighed out worked perfectly for our dinner. He portioned out 5 perfect servings, which is very helpful for cooking. I was particularly impressed that when the mussels were being bagged and weighed, the nice gal checked each mussel to be sure they were moving (closing their shell). When I cooked them up, each mussel opened in the 2lbs I purchased. Impressive! They were fresh, sweet and not one mussel was leftover.
I broiled the grouper and served it with a fresh citrus reduction, I received more than one compliment on the quality of the grouper. Still the best tasting and quality grouper we’ve purchased in Orlando. The key lime pie was devoured, it’s the perfect balance of sweet and tart, with a light whipped cream topping. Keep it in the freezer until you are ready to use, let it sit out for an hour and you are ready. My folks proclaimed it as good, if not better, than their favorite Key Lime pie in Key West. I’d agree. They just reported back that the smoked fish dip is gone and a delicious treat. Once again, Lighthouse ensured we had the perfect meal from start to finish.
