Heathrow OBGYN

Being new to the area, and having a bad experience with my first attempt at finding a new doctor, my second attempt was a huge improvement. I love the health care system in Michigan, and finding doctors on par to the professionalism I revived back at home has been a challenge. However, for an OBGYN appointment, I couldn’t have asked for anything better than Dr. Cofield. She is over the top in personality, and makes an annual exam something like no other. She is kind, understanding, personable, and compassionate. She is a Packers fan (but we won’t hold that against her). She is the first female GYN I’ve ever had, and so thankful for the recommendation. I highly recommend Heathrow OBGYN

AVOID THIS PLACE THE BEST YOU CAN!!! I have had nothing but bad experiences dealing with this place of business! The customer service is HORRIBLE to say the least! They turn away patients for no justifiable reason!
I called to get information about prenatal self patient care and Sarah (receptionist) treated me as if I had killed her dog! Her unprofessionalism and condescending tone was OVER THE TOP! She was in search for ANY reason to turn me away… maybe because I am a self pay patient, maybe not. Regardless of how I handle MY bill should not determine how I am handled on the phone or in person for that matter! The insults continued the next day with Liz where after a 15 minute hold where she said she was talking to Mandy comes back to the phone with a complete overnight «rule» change! Sarah made no mention of a required $ 4000 payment prior to treatment. But I guess this applies to ME today!
I am left in total shock of how these girls handled calls that should be professional and maybe a little compassionate. I have NEVER experienced this before in any setting and trust me, I deal A LOT with people in professional businesses and positions.
These girls answering the phones are the first representation of the business. How they handle customers over the phone and in person leaves you expecting this from everyone you come in contact with within the business. I think they need a little training class in customer service!
