Went for a wing night and to help out the school fundraiser. Put order in and at 6:45 and an hour later had to ask for food. Wings came out and asked for to go containers as it was almost 8pm. Paid our bill and left. When got home started eating and the wings were pink. Waitress was apologetic and said the cook was backed up. Understand being busy but being there and not being busy that is not a good excuse. Cooks need to be hired and if you can’t cook wings you should probably hire new cooks. When the owner is never around due to whichever reason since we asked for an owner and was told he isn’t around… hoping I don’t get sick from pink wings.

This place is great. Super friendly service here and great food. The owner does all the cooking for. What I hear and he has been cooking for like 20 plus years. One of my personal favorites is their nachos… A full order is crazy huge so be careful. I like that it’s a full bar with maybe a half dozen beers on tap including a couple crafties. Pint crafties are like 4 bucks! They run food specials all the time and have live music virtually ever single weekend. This place makes Lake Vanare great. Good food, friendly service, and good prices. Burgers and sammiches, typical bar food, but it’s done right. Been there many times and will continue to go back.

Arrived in Lake George late, mid-week, & off-season. The Longhorn was one of the only places open. So glad I went! The décor is a combination of a hunting cabin + biker bar. The staff are super friendly. The place, including the washrooms, was exceptionally clean. You can tell this is a «regulars“kind of joint which only adds to the friendly atmosphere. I had a couple pints of the seasonal Sam Adams on tap and 25¢ hot wings. Perfect late night pub fare. Ended up chatting with the owner before I left. A lovely & interesting family man. He said to tell all my friends to come and visit, which I will. So if you happen along The Longhorn be sure to tell them«Shauna sent you».

Stopped in BC we were starving & didn’t realise everything in lake Luzern closes at 9 pm bartender was friendly & welcoming upon arrival, nice guy we ordered a couple of sodas as we were done drinking for the day and they had a late night bar menu(it was after 9 pm) which was mostly fried foods Food was good bartender was very attentive and thanked us for coming in, we will give it another shot but go in earlier next time to experience their full menus definitely a really good place!

The Long Horn is right near my parents house, and being a small tourist town, is one of the only places open in the immediate area in the dead of winter, so I have ended up here quite often on my holiday trips home. The atmosphere is great in the winter being a log cabin, and there is a fireplace in the dining room. In terms of food I noticed the menu is a little smaller than previous visits, my father noted that he thought it was mostly entrees that they had eliminated, so it has become more of a bar snack/sandwich/burger type place. There are quite a few appetizer options and I have been in the past for trivia nights and had a few… always good. This particular visit I started with the cream of broccoli soup. It was quite good and I would guess homemade because the broccoli in it tasted fresh. My only complaint on the soup was that it could have been hotter. My father was the only other person who got an appetizer and went for the steamed clam special. It was only $ 4 for 12 and when he received it there were definitely more than 12 and he really seemed to like them… it was a really great deal. I ordered the mushroom swiss burger… I’m not really sure why… I don’t generally care for burgers. This one was quite good as burgers go, but my brothers ordered the Reuben sandwich(which I have ordered in the past) and I was a little jealous as I think that’s what I really wanted. My father ordered the french dip which looked quite good and my stepmom ordered a grilled cheese which I was also jealous of. The sandwiches come with chips and a pickle, but we all upgraded to fries or onion rings. Service was very fast and friendly.

While I haven’t had the food, I have had a few drinks at this joint. Great Adirondack/rustic charm! Definitely could tell it’s local hangout. But no worries, they’re friendly. Sit at the bar, order a local brew on tap. I had the Bear Naked Ale, brewed at the Adirondack Brew Pub just down the way. Live music on weekends, great stop after the Rodeo. I am incredibly thankful this spot was only a short walk away from our cabin! Go see for yourself!

We ate here last night. Very friendly service, very good food, large portions and reasonable prices. A better alternative to dining in Lake George. We had burgers and salmon. The kids loved the home made chips and mashed potatoes.
