A few years back I asked the owner to hang a sign for the Fire Department, we were having a wetdown for a new truck(a big deal in a small community like Lake Hiawatha) They refused, the only business that refused. Hard to be part of a community when you don’t support your local volunteer’s… And Barbershops are historically community meeting places. I have no first hand experience with their hair cutting, I go to Sal’s across the street. I have never seen more then one or two people in there and that is not often.

Absolute joke for a barber shop. Guy spent the a good 5 minutes talking on the phone after I walked into the store, and followed up by giving me a 2 – 3 min trim without even using a brush to make sure the lines were straight. Of all the bad places I’ve been too, this shop is by far the worst. Fking joke.

For the price, I wasn’t satisfied and haven’t been back since. All I need is a #2 or #2.5 razor and shave my head. Then clean up the back and sides. Not hard. They didn’t ruin my cut but it just wasn’t done in a way where I can say, I’ll go back. As a matter of fact, I still go to my old barber which is 30 minutes from my new place. I just feel comfortable with him. These guys did not convince me to stay with them.

For a $ 1 more go to Sal’s across the street. You could do better by spending your money on a cheap electric trimmer at WalMart and buzz your own hair off. This place is a joke and are clueless. I saw the line outside of Sal’s Barber Shor and thought I’d give this place a chance. .. . OOoops. . there was a reason why there were no lines!
